Fellow Wowheadians, I have made this thread because most of the users here have a strong appreciation for books.
So in this thread, you can rate a book*, discuss a book, and recommend a book to others. Even rate a recommended book!
And of course being the OP I have to add some fuel to the fire.
I recommend the following books Harry Potter series, Mortal Instrument series, the Artemis Fowl series, The Inheritance Cycle , the Septimus Heap books, also the Skulduggery Pleasant series.
*All uses of the word book can also mean series of books.(##RESPBREAK##)136##DELIM##Queggy##DELIM##Thanks to
Vanstorm
, there is a Google spreadsheet that lists the books and authors suggested in this thread. You can find said spreadsheet
here
. Please feel free to add your own suggestions to this list!

the Artemis Fowl series
Yay!
The Inheritance Cycle
Booo!
But anyway, no mention of The Cosmic Trilogy? For shame :(

Terry Goodkind's Sword of Truth series.
It's a bit graphic, so people over 16 only.

Oh, nonsense.
For good psychological stimulation, in the sci-fi genre, hit up "The Pride of Chanur". 4 more novels follow it.

Arthas : Rise of the Lich King by Christie Golden
Warcraft : Cycle of Hatred by Keith R. A. DeCandido
Also, Interest, if it's only "a bit graphic," then it sure as hell isn't for 16 and over only. Most people have seen nudity, organs, weapons, etc. by age 14. :O

I beg to differ. There's lots of sexual themes in all the books.

READ MY POST. >:O
Also,
Song of Ice and Fire (Series) By George R. R. Martin, descriptions of sex, battle, prostitution, etc.
I recommend it for anyone with skin thicker than a piece of paper to things like that.

Not gonna lie, the Harry Potter series was the best imo.

The Sword of Truth is awesome. I haven't gotten to read past book 4-5 I think though. Life As We Knew It is a good read, about a meteor crashing into the moon, and knocking it closer to Earth. The Inkheart Trilogy, a whole bunch of Forgotten Realms books, the Harry Potter ones, the LotR ones, the Kingdom Key series, the Septimus Heap Series, the (One with a wizard whose true name was Ged) series, and the Inheritance ones are pretty good ones.
EDIT: How could I forget T.A.Barrons Merlin/Avalon Series?
