You can only have one of a unique gem in your possession and that includes in your gear. If you have this gem socketed in a piece of gear, even if its in your bank, you wont be able to loot it (unfortunately it still lets you roll and prevent other people from being able to get it). So to get a 2nd one you would have to overwrite the gem currently in your gear.

Even though it doesn't say so on Test, this appears to give +4 damage in addition to the healing. I have it on my Merciless Gladiator's Ringmail along with a 9 healing (3 damage) and 4 int gem, and when I un-equip it, rather than losing 27 damage I lose 31. This was completely without talents, as I had just logged in and hadn't spent them yet.

As of Patch 2.4 these are no longer Unique, so you can have as many as you choose to farm.

Blue epic stam gem is +15 stam
Red epic healing gem is +22 healing

If you socket two Blessed Tanzanite, you get +22 healing and +12 stam, which isn't the best deal.

MXNRob, to answer your question - you can have only one Tanzanite gem period, either in your armor or gear as far as I can tell. I tried to socket a second one I got a message telling me I could have only one. Not sure what Patch 2.4 achieved but it doesn't seem to apply to me! Anyone else have a different experience?
