I have a Spellfire specced tailor as well as a Frozen Shadoweave specced tailor both 375.

Is there any reason for me to get the Spellfire or Frozen shadoweave equivalent Carpets over this one or are they like the choices of coloured mounts you get and depend on what u think looks best?

both this rug and the 410 tailoring one dont say that they require any riding skill at all, where the 425 tailoring one says it requires artisan. just thought i'd point that out, im sure it'll be changed though

The real question with this particular item is that it's not obvious where it comes from.

The Flying Carpet is trained via a Tailoring Trainer
The Various Flavoured Swift Carpets are also trained via Tailoring Trainers

But this one, regardless of which website you look at remains a mystery as to where you learn it.

At this point, I'm assuming either it was the precursor to the various flavoured mounts or its a rare world drop.

According to my calcutions(<------Nerdy), It DOES NOT require 300 riding, only 420 tailoring, although, it probably costs 3000g+ to make.

You can not learn this pattern. As it states in Quick Facts (Right corner, top of the page) " Not available to players".

You can't use anything that reads "Requires <profession><skill level> to use." unless you're of that skill level or higher and currently have that profession.
