Un peu moisi comme trinket en terme de PVE pur. Rare sont les classes qui vont nécessiter un tel besoin de MP5, même sur trinket, en se privant d'autre stats. Le proc est agréable mais insuffisant.. ( au risque de le voir partir en overheal même ;o ).
En PVP ce trinket pourrait être puissant, vu qu'il est utilisable même lorsqu'on est SIlence.

A direct upgrade over Living Ice Crystals, which drop from 25man Malygos in the Eye of Eternity. This is an unconfirmed drop from 25man ICC Blood Queen Lanathel.

Based on the cooldown from Living Ice Crystals, one can assume it will be one minute for this trinket as well, providing an excellent single-target heal every 60 seconds. This is an all-around great trinket, however it can really shine for endurance fights that require lots of Mp5 (and the free heal).

Contrary to what everyone is saying, this is not as good of a pvp trinket as you may think. If your this far in ICC 25 then you probably have access to solace which is much better for double healer and outlasting 2s. If your getting this, your getting it for the equivalent of an mp5 battlemasters after mortal strike/woundpoison (BM isnt affected by it while this is, so cut the ~8k in half) and possibly to use while cs'd.

While I could justify this on a shaman (lol get trained), as a (non human) priest who actually knows how to... wait for it ... FAKE CAST! Not worth losing 150ish sp imho (95% of all non human pvp healers use battlemasters / wg sp trinkets for arenas since sp > all and good teams usually win before going oom).

Edit: If you could use this while sheeped or feared instead of just silenced would be greatest pvp trinket since GLG in s5

Sorry, but there is absolutely no reason to use ice crystal over HERIOC solace. I realize you may see a 2k heal (before ms/wound poison) as game breaking (remember bm is ~4k and not affected by ms/woundpoison, plus gives better stats) but understand that solace allows you to completely change your playstyle against good (2400+ teams).

ie: With solace, especially heroic solace (as rogue priest) you can sit on a warrior all day with an envenom rogue and win the mana war against any healer, where as without it you have to plan accordingly and swap/reset. If you don't believe me go read the threads on AJ, solace really is an OP trinket.

As I said in the earlier post it's a tradeoff; bauble is pretty much an mp5 battlemasters that can be used on anyone, unlike ice crystals it heals for about the same as the current level of battlemasters after ms but more without it. It all comes down to whether you you need the mp5 over spellpower, are under geared, or value the heal more than stats (which I can understand). However if you do need the mp5 for your team realize that solace gives more of it and it gives spellpower (read: better). Obviously use what you have access to but unless you/your team are undergeared and need the survivability on top of the mp5 (single healer 3s in an outlasting comp) or double healer and you don't have solace than

TLDR: herioc solace > solace > herioc bauble > battlemasters > bauble for MOST mana intensive comps from disc pov

Edit: Ilhanou; as a shaman I can understand you using the trinket, however with the recent resil buff hotfix the value of the instant heal will be diminished for other classes. Although in the end I guess it comes down to your comp and play style, solace will most likely still be better for double healer, meanwhile bauble will still be good if your getting consistently trained or locked out (lol retarded prot warrior/beastcleave damage).

Edit 2: While it may seem hypocritical, I'll probably use this for RMP if it's still a viable comp and if there's still alot of beastcleave or really dumb prot cleaves during season 8 as the 8k heal can really help when your getting facerolled by a enhancement shaman or prot warrior.

Being a paladin healer, I used to use Vial of the Sunwell in S3. This is the WotLK version of it pretty much, without the hassle to cast 20 heals in advance. Awesome for PvP. You can use it instead of a Battlemaster's Trinket, the heals are about the same (This trinkets heal's higher w/o MS applied, Battlemasters is higher with MS applied), same CD.

This trinket sucks no matter how hard you try and justify its worth. If you need an 8k "oh-snap" heal then its probably because all your other healers have gimped their output by using this trinket instead of other better trinkets.

While the name could just be coincidental, this could be a reference to the True Blood tv series, as the vampires' blood can heal humans who drink it.

Our guild saw this drop once and no one wanted it because they all viewed it as a pvp trinket. So we have decided that this item will go offspec almost immediately because no one should be using it as a healing trinket in PVE encounters.

It's actually very good to use as an emergency heal, in PvE and PvP.

My macro as a resto shaman is.

/cast nature's swiftness
/cast tidal force
/cast Bauble of True Blood
/stopcasting
/cast healing wave

Obviously can be tweaked in a number of waves for a very big situational heal.

Best trinket for PvP without a doubt, this + h solace = win.
Got it to crit for 26k last night in ICC with 20% buff, this item does indeed have a 2 minute CD and the spell is called Release of Light

The cataclysm overhaul mp5 becoming Spirit will somewhat favor many more classes because it will be equal to the same 75mp5 for Meditation-based specs (healing specs), or around 150 hit rating for hybrids on caster dps spec (boomkin and SPriest come to mind having the talents that do so). That said it will be less interesting for pure caster dpsers (mages and locks), though they have interesting uses for Spirit too.
