If you enter combat while riding past these guys when they're fighting, you won't be able to drop. I passed these guys while doing the elemental farming daily and didn't leave combat for over 10 minutes. Tired of wasting bandages because I couldn't sit to eat, I relogged, only to find I was STILL in combat. Only when I went all the way back to the NPCs I ran past and killed them did I finally exit combat.

Edit: Looks like this is been fixed.

Getting the killing blow on these during Wintergrasp grants a kill credit towards Corporal or First Lieutenant, regardless of who tapped it.

They seem to have a respawn timer of ~30 seconds, but will not respawn as long as any player is within 30 yards range or something like that (the exact range is uncertain). Simply wait at a range if you want them to respawn fast.

Curiously, as Horde, mousing over these guys shows the tooltip: "Alliance members slain: 0/10" when I'm on the quest http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=13178 Weird.

Found one of these guys asleep on the job behind Eastpark, during a battle. For shame.

I love these guys outfit, and I transmoged in one of these actually. One time i tried to fool the alliance that I'm actually the guard and i succeded. :D Oh I would love to see his reaction when the guard bursted him to death :D
