For some unknown reason, I got this achievement (and the title) at 199 toys. I usually play Alliance characters, and I had 198 toys. I switched to a Horde one to buy the Essence de givre permanente, which brought my total of toys to 199, where I got the achiev. I submitted a screenshot here as evidence.

Right after, I switched back to Alliance, in case there were some hidden items added, but no : still 199/258 toys and the achievement validated. Weird.

Here's to hoping they give a 250 and even a 300 achieve for Legion, with a unique and cool toy reward unlike anything else yet seen.

For anyone else hunting this, it is worth nothing that the rogue only toy Barrel of Bandanas counts. It does not appear in the list of toys however. Farming only takes 1-2 hours, so not that bad.

In my opionion they should shorten the cooldowns on the toys and make the 'funtime' longer. Very fun to collect :D

The should make a 250-one achievement and give the Skyclaw mount (that looks a bit toyish), to those who got the achievement.

For those of you aiming for this Achievement, I just wanted to confirm that the Bannière de Fossoyeuse for Horde, and Bannière de Hurlevent if you're Alliance do indeed count as two instead of one. Such as if you buy the Orgrimmar one, it will also buy the Stormwind one therefore counts as two! (There's one for each race, such as Dwarf Bannière de Forgefer and Tauren Bannière des Pitons-du-Tonnerre. You can obtain these from the Argent Tournament grounds, but note you will need to do a series of dailies in order to unlock the specified faction.
