At the moment there are only two weapons left in the game that use this model and are also obtainable by players. This is one of these two. The other one is Epée longue du feu-sorcier, obtained from Mennu the Betrayer (Slave Pens, normal mode).

For those who just started a gnome warrior / rogue on a new server:
You'll get a new weapon with the quest Pushing Forward and may choose from one of these three:
Dagger, 2-6 damage, 1.40 attack speed, 2.9 dps
Axe (one-hand), 2-10 damage, 2.60 attack speed, 2.9 dps
Staff (two-hand), 8-13 damage, 2.80 attack speed, 3.8 dps

Vendor weapons are better then those and can be obtained at lower levels but cost some silver.

Update on the Race / Faction change.

I have a 4 yr old level 2 gnome warrior bank toon. When 4.0 came out, i was able to return to the new gnome starting zone and do the quests and get this sword. "warrior only quest"! (Given for learning Charge) So any warrior can get this sword, not just new ones.

Because its a starter zone quest, and because the PTR lets lots of random faction / race changes happen with your toons on the PTR character loading screen I figured what the heck, and rolled a gnome warrior on the PTR. I got this sword then logged. Waited a bit, logged back in and WAS able to switch my gnome warrior to another alliance race keeping the sword.

Faction change (into horde) I was able to keep the sword. Tauren with a lightsaber is... different. Screenshot taken and will upload if I can.

So far, THIS WAS ON THE PTR! Not a live server, there may be something im unaware of when its a live race / faction switch.

Race change = keep the sword
Faction change = Keep the sword

50 bucks and its yours warriors >< Switch to gnome, get sword, switch back!

AGAIN THIS WAS ON THE PTR. Not a live server, Please check with someone from blizzard before attempting the transaction, but at least this brings hope :)

To answer the question if this is possible to be obtained by Horde warriors: Yes...BUT, it will cost you the cost of faction change (which is $30). I just did this on my alt in the live server-to confirm Riggs' suspicion on the PTR.

As a side note, I would advise you to do all the starter quests in Gnomer from to get from level 1-10 to get the matching type of BoP armor that makes you look like Obi-wan Jedi. I swear Blizz must favor the Gnomes enough to do this but it's cool as you'll get to keep it when you faction transfer. Now I'm the only Horde on my server that I've seen that has this cool looking light-saber :D

I've successfully transmoged it to my heirloom 2H sword (it cost 1 gold) so I can keep looking at its awesomeness as I level to cap.

I personally thought it was worth the price tag but it's up to you if you think it's worth it.

"The sense, I cannot see it make." So the normal would sound pretty messed up, "I cannot see it make the sense." Or, "I cannot see the sense it makes." I think the extra, 'the,' wasn't needed. xD

So it'd be, "Hmmmm! *Yoda face.* Sense it doesn't make...." Or, "The sense in this I do not see!"

Side note -- if you enchant it or a BoA sword transmogged to this with Fiery it will turn red at the hilt and purpleish at the middle and finally blue at the end.

Pretty awesome looking I must add.

Sadly crusader only makes the blade more visible (less wispy)

I can confirm that this is gnome-only. I created a dwarf warrior to test. The entire gnome starting quest chain is only available to gnomes, which makes sense as it is mostly centred around preventing yourself from turning into a Gnome lépreux. The quest's page on Wowhead doesn't say anything about it, but this quest is only available if you've completed the initial chain.

Others will have to satisfy themselves with the Epée longue du feu-sorcier, which is a letdown as main-hand swords can only be mogged to other main-hand swords, of which there are very few. ~~Obviously, it also precludes dual-wielding.~~ Yes, you can dual-wield main-hand weapons if you want to, but the point of Poigne du titan is that you get the extra asskickery of 2h weapons, is it not? This is the only weapon that allows you to charge into L’Âme des dragons rocking two lightsabres like a boss.

Besides, why wouldn't you want a gnome warrior? We kick more ass (per foot) than anyone else in the game. B)

For a 1h mog in a similar vein, the Lame fantôme is a personal favourite.

I leveld my Warrior Horde and faction changed to gnome just to get this sword but I can't seem to pick this quest up. :( My warrior is level 85 and knows the charge spell and did the equivalent quest on Horde side. I'm guessing this is affecting me being able to pick up the quest. If anyone knows a way around this please let me know. I currently have a ticket open to get the item restored OR to be allowed to reacquire this quest. x fingers : /

Well, I found out about this, and took the chance. I'm a Human warrior, and I was able to take the charge quest, and get the item.
I have race/faction changed before, but was never a Gnome. Undead -> Blood Elf -> Human.
I don't how that bugged it, but it has. Awesome if you ask me. Check it in the Screen Shots section, I've mogged it onto my old Season 10 Sword, and popped Fiery Wep on it.

This is really nice when you transmogrify it to some other 2h sword. My gnome warrior has heirloom sword and i have transmogrifed it into this.
