The buff from this food (also from Sauce aux canneberges, Sauce aux canneberges gélifiée and Dinde rôtie) isn't applied to lower level characters as well. Tried the food to characters with level 90+, a level 12 and a level 78. This is an unnecessary stealth nerf, considering WotLK foods give similar buffs and the availability of those permanent foods is somewhat limited. It is also a shame to remove the functionality of newly implemented perks of this world event (permanent Pilgrim's bounty themed foods). This happened probably because it was easier to remove the buff from the food than to arrange it to not work at level 100.

In addition, all those foods do not even grand the health and mana regeneration they refer to in their tooltips for characters at lvl 100. Tested in patch 6.2.3 with multiple toons.

The Slow-Smoked Turkey, Congealed Cranberry Chutney, Twice-Baked Sweet Potato, Herb-Infused Stuffing, and Gourmet Pumpkin Pie, all of which are randomly contained in the Pilgrim's Bounty reward for completing the event’s daily quests and persist without limited duration after the event has ended, are counterparts to the Pilgrim’s Bounty Seasonal Cooking recipe items contained in the Bountiful Cookbook. As of this writing, Patch 7.3.2, neither the Slow-Smoked Turkey nor the Congealed Cranberry Chutney work as indicated in the item description and they do not apply the intended buff or Well Fed to characters of any level. These two foods have been broken for many years now, and I actually cannot remember a time when they did work, but the other three (Twice-Baked Sweet Potato, Herb-Infused Stuffing, and Gourmet Pumpkin Pie) seem to be working properly. Nonetheless, I love these types of persistent holiday foods, because they tend to scale with my character, providing full or percentage restoration that is not limited to actual hit points. I will just have to keep hoping that the Blizzard developers will see fit to fix the code for the Slow-Smoked Turkey and Congealed Cranberry Chutney, because the buffs the foodstuffs claim to provide would be nice. As of the Shadowlands launch, game version 9.0.2, the Congealed Cranberry Chutney and Slow-Smoked Turkey have been repaired and do provide the buff once more! No more having to throw it away! Yay! Thanks Blizz! The only glitch, at this time, is that the buff is granted two seconds after beginning to consume the food, instead of the ten seconds usually required; it even looks as if the buff is applied every couple of seconds in the first ten seconds, but that may just be my imagination. Happy Pigrim's Bounty!

Despite saying it'll give me roughly 56 attack power, it only increased my damage by 2.

in Shadowlands it gives a well fed buff, but since it supposedly buffs AP and AP is not displayed, i couldn't tell you exactly what the buff is.

if the flavor text is correct, this is THE strongest food in the game. but, chances are it's just incorrect
