When I used this I got ported above the Great Sea north of Western Plaguelands. When I hit the water I was in fatigue water so I would avoid using this. This was as of beta build 8885.

I just used this today, and it works. It is ment to telport you off the top of the tower. Awesome neck reward : )

This drops off of Drakuru for the quest betrayal and ports you from the top platform of Voltarus to 27, 53. Only usable once.

BTW, use it fast, it will vanish and you will stay stuck on top. I kinda couldn't find it in inventory, as it was full, the 3 minutes past and I lost the chance to use it. That time doesn't make any sense unless it's a way to kick out people to leave space for the next questers.

I was very excited to get to put the hurtin on Drakuru after he played me like a fiddle and left me hanging on top of Drak'tharon Keep...I got to Zul'Drak (waay after 80. I did the Grizzly chain while leveling and did the Zul'Drak chain after Icecrown). I read the text to his first quest and this guy is genuinely glad to see you.

Got over it after he calls you out on top of Voltarus. Then I looted this.

Drakuru really does see you as a brother in arms and honestly thought he was giving you the best turning you into a scourge; undeath is a utopia. He gives you his last wish. An amazing end to an awesomely climactic questchain.

I didn't receive this item at all when I looted the skull, and my inventory was definitely not full (had at least six spaces left open). I had to jump off and die to get out of there. Very annoying.

It's so saddening. Drakuru really trusted you, and seemed like a true friend, although a commander of the Scourge. Even after you betray him, his last with is to get you away from the Lich King so you don't suffer the same fate as he.

Drakuru felt like a true friend in a game filled with NPC's who ask of one thing and are done with you.

Heh, what this item USED to do was teleport you to the middle of the ocean, far enough away from land that fatigue killed you.

It appears this is not lootable by those who have the appropriate riding skill plus Cold Weather Flying trained (in which case you can just hop on your mount and fly away).

Drakuru´s Last Wish is no longer a droppable item.
It's now a sort of black crystal floating next to the skull you have the loot.
When you interact with it, it says "Anywhere but here..." with an option marked "Get away from here".
Using this option teleports you away from the top to a location far away from Voltarus.
This crystal appears whether you have Cold Flying or not, and stays there until you use it. No more 3 minute cooldown.

When I did this quest last (about 5 minutes ago), I had a problem where someone else came up and started the event... quickly grabbing a skull and the wish and before I could get teh wish it was gone. Now whether there are only a limitted amount of wishes or if someone starting the event over causesd the items to disapear, make sure to have cold weather flying or a parachute in case it happens to you.
