Worth looking out for this pattern and paying a good few gold for it. The masks sell nicely on their own merits, both looks and stats.

They're also good for (dis)enchanters as a source of Vision Dust - by far the cheapest tailoring recipe in the 36-40 bracket, with only one bolt of Mageweave needed.

2.3 patch made this baby from crapy to perfect. i got this patthern way before 2.3 only for disenchant it and now its worth a lot more with the stats given.

You would probably make even more just selling them on the AH to twinks, it doesn't require engineering like some of the head items that caster twinks wear. You could probably sell em for 5g each or so easy on the AH if not more. Just depends on how common the pattern for it is I suppose. It's not a bad head item to hold people over until a more rare blue shows up on the AH....or for the budget minded twinks ;)

Just got one to drop from a mob at Tyr's Hand. I was farming the Crusader Enchant and this dropped. I am selling the White Bandit Masks in the AH at the moment for 30g. Just started selling these and announcing the info in trade chat. Telling everyone that its a rare recipe which it is 0.9% to 1.4% world drop rate. So far I think I am the only one selling these, never see them in AH. I tell people that they are good looking for Transmog as well.

This is a great money maker! Costing only 1x Étoffe de tisse-mage and producing 2/5 x Vision Dust most of the time (I get 5 more than I do 2!) you are really doubling or more your money.

If your farming Étoffe de tisse-mage then a great place to farm is in Tanaris and find the Ogre cognedune who drop the best.

If your not farming then this is a great item to own. It looks great and sells well in AH on its own.

One tiny issue I have is just the icon for the Masque blanc de bandit that they use for this. It is for a back item and does not fit at all! Its not even white! Yes its a minor thing... But I am fussy :)

If you want to disenchant Masque blanc de bandit in bulk quantities by purchasing Étoffe de tisse-mage, keep the following conversion rate in mind when checking the auction house prices:

1 stack of Étoffe de tisse-mage will convert into 13 Vision Dust and 3 Lesser Nether Essence.

Over the past few months I've purchased several hundred stacks of Étoffe de tisse-mage, and the numbers above are based on those averages. I buy when cloth is cheap, make my masks and disenchant them when I'm bored, and sell dust and essence when the AH has none in stock.

As stated in several other posts, this mask requires only one bolt of cloth to make, which gives you the biggest return on investment.

I found this pattern in the treasure chest near Witch Doctor Zum'rah while farming mageweave and greens to DE in Zul'Farrak. Always open treasure chests and good luck to you!

Looted this pattern from the end chest in Uldaman, in the vault just past Khaz'goroth's Seat. Looted the Pattern along with Embossed Plate Helm of the Tiger and Gossamer Cape of Intellect.
