Because I was short on bag space, I destroyed the egg after doing the quest. I was curious to see if Seigneur Itharius would give me another to facilitate a future summoning. He won't, even after resetting the instance. I also talked to the version of him standing on top of the temple outside the instance, and he wouldn't give one to me, either.(##RESPBREAK##)2056##DELIM##adashiel##DELIM##

The Egg of Hakkar is no longer needed, there is a pile of skulls nearby the old spot in the Temple of Atal you may use to spawn the mob.

Though unneeded, this item is still tied to the dungeon quest to kill Avatar d'Hakkar, and will abandon the quest if deleted from inventory while the quest is active.

So you're forced to carry it around anyway if you loot it during the quest.
