Ce coffre contient le set complet des sombres chamans kor'kron.
Il s'obtient après avoir vaincu les sombres chamans kor'kron en version Dynamique, Normal et Héroïque, le coffre apparaît automatiquement dans vos sacs à la mort des boss, à la façon d'un loot en RdR.

Apparemment, il n'est pas obtenable par breloque.

Le taux de drop est inconnu (mais ce n'est pas 100%), certain le loot dès le 1er down, d'autres moins chanceux mettront plus de temps :P (perso j'en suis à 29 downs sans l'avoir obtenus)

Après discutions avec un MJ j'apporte des précisions maintenant qu'on est sous légion. L'item est dropable dans toute les difficultés sauf LFR seulement pour le chaman. Nous avons plusieurs chances de drop l'objet par semaine dans chacune des difficultés (Normal / Héroïque / Mythique) Screen :

This is the chest containing the full Kor'kron dark shaman set.
It's a drop from the dark shamans in Siege of Orgrimmar raid and it's not an 100% drop chance. Link to full set : Kor'kron Dark Shaman Armor

I actually got lucky, I recieved this the week of Siege of Orgrimmar release. It is randomed personal loot similar to the world boss/flex/lfr loot system. If you get it, the lootwindow will pop up and you get the treasurebag in the inventory instantly. I cannot confirm if it can drop from LFR or Flex since I got mine from normal. Doesn't seem to have that low drop rate though, the week after another shaman in my guild got one. Happy hunting, people!

I can confirm that you do indeed have 2 chances of receiving this per week by doing it on both Flex and Normal/HC mode as I killed it on Flex on Wednesday and on HC on Thursday, receiving it on my HC kill.

Edit: As per the responses below this is no longer the case; you will only have one chance per week to obtain the item, though it is still available from all difficulties except LFR.

We had 2 shamans in the group, someone else and myself. I received it on the 19th kill, on normal. Been doing it since available on flex as well (so might be less than 19, since I sometimes do flex multiple times a week). It is indeed auto-looted and pops up as a "You receive" window similar to flex/LFR. However, the other shaman did not get it.

This dropped today for me, on Aggramar EU in our 25 man raid (Obviously at shamans and i am a shaman healer)
I had no idea what it was when it was randomly given to me!

Undoubtedly the best looking Shaman set in the game. After a long run of cheap looking sets that made even the deadliest of Orcs look like fluffy kittens, we finally got something looking half decent across the three specialisations.

I got my set from Heroic Dark Shamans 10 Man, after 2 Flexi, 16 Normal, and 7 Heroic attempts.
My other guild Shaman managed to get it after his 3rd Normal attempt.

Entirely random.

From previous experience I can say this is incorrect. To make sabsolutely sure that SoO is no different, I just tested this. As long as a level 90 enters the raid first a lower level can enter it. This does not however work for dungeons. (My 70 needs Horde expedition rep, so believe me I've tried)

Whether or not this item will actually 'drop' for a lower level I can't say. I do plan on testing it on my 80 Shaman though, if my guildies will let me.

This can drop multiple times. Unfortunately, since the chest and its contents are Soulbound, the only useful thing you can do with your second chest is sell its contents for approximately 160 gold

Can this still be obtained post MoP? If you look at the loot table provided in the dungeon journal it isn't listed. Even if you specify that you are looking for specifically shaman loot.

I finally got this set tonight and another shaman in group said he had not found a good 1-h transmog. I thought I would share my choice in case anyone was struggling. I went with Sceptre turbulent and Bouclier de Gul'rok. Many of the WoD maces have the same model.

Now I have heard this item has a 0.01% of dropping but that is simply to low imo I think it must be around 1-5% however maybe the reason it could be 0.01% is because the data been taken may be from all classes apart from shaman which are not eligible to obtain. Apparently you can get items from this set that drop off mobs, is that true?

For anyone still confused about this Tmog and how it drops; it works like this as of 28/06/16.

You only have 1 chance a week to get it regardless of what difficulty you kill Dark Shamans that week, and it cannot be bonus rolled. Many other posts will say, "I spoke to a GM and he said this, or my friend told me that...", but its all just conjecture. I have scoured to find the information about this set from twitter and blue posts from when I farmed the Tmog.

Therefore, since SoO has a Mythic, Heroic and Normal mode, if i kill it on Mythic and it doesnt drop i've used my attempt for the week and its pointless to re-run either hc or normal mode on that character- ofc you can if you want, God loves a trier. It took me 150+ dark shaman kills between 2 shamans before the set dropped (not joking, 150+). It sucked big time casue i often saw fresh alts get it, but rng is rng.

Best of Luck and keep an eye on the Black market AH casue it sometimes pops up there.

Having been farming this for quite a while, (27 kills across Normal, Heroic and Mythic) I decided to ticket a GM about the rules of this. According to the person I spoke with, apparently it's one chance per difficulty.

Given the many instances of people stating that it's only one chance per week full stop, it makes me wonder.

Has anybody been lucky enough to receive it twice in one week? :P

I can confirm that it still drops in legion since I got it two days ago. It was in mythic difficulty.

For those who wonder if loot system matters: This box appears in the middle of your screen just like legion legendaries do after killing the dark shamans boss.

Drop rate seems pretty low since I have been farming this for more than 3 months.

For the record and people who were searching left and right for answers and couldn't find any.
-The drop rate is low, apparently I was lucky to get it after about 12 runs
-As of now, 7.3.5, the set drops from LFR, Normal, Heroic and Mythic
-You can run all 4 difficulty and it will still have a change to drop, today I got it on normal after trying it in LFR
-There's no bonus roll on it, the armor box appears like a legendary armor drop, which is in the middle of the screen after defeating the boss. So it has nothing to do about the boss's drop or the loot system.

I finally got mine on Heroic, first attempt at SoO this weekly reset (took a total of maybe 20 weeks for me across two years).

I feel it's still 1 chance a week across difficulties as stated by the Blizzard CM/Dev a few years ago. I haven't found one confirmed report with screenshot proof of LFR dropping it, only Normal/Heroic/Mythic. I also haven't found similar proof of someone having it drop in one of those three difficulties after already having killed the Dark Shaman on another difficulty that same week.

So to sum up:

Drops only in Normal / Heroic / Mythic, NOT LFR
Once you kill Dark Shaman on any of those three difficulties, you cannot get a chance at a drop until the next weekly reset. Again, as it doesn't drop in LFR, doing LFR won't affect your chance at drop for that week.
The drop pops up on the screen like a Personal Loot / Legion Legendary item the moment the boss dies. It will not typically show up on the boss's body.
Once you get the treasure, you have to right click it to open it, unlocking 8 Bind on Pickup items that automatically are added to your Appearances tab. You can safely get rid of these cosmetic armor pieces after that.

Some tips to make farming faster:

If you only care about the Dark Shaman treasure, try to join an SoO group in LFG. Whisper the leader saying you are only after a Personal Loot Shaman drop off the Dark Shaman boss.
Get an alt to clear up to Dark Shaman, then share that lockout with your Shaman character(s). You can extend this lockout to give yourself two weeks of a shared lockout cleared up to Dark Shaman, shaving off at least 15-20 minutes clearing bosses per Shaman every other week.
If drop rate is the same on all difficulties, don't bother with Mythic as it's just a slog. Immerseus, Fallen Protectors, Galakras, and even Iron Juggernaut are really annoying due to the higher HP (especially after 7.3.5 changed old content scaling).
Try to kill the bosses leading to Dark Shaman as Elemental. You will have an easier time with Immerseus, Fallen Protectors, and Galakras add waves due to your superior range and AOE. Iron Juggernaut is probably easier as Enhancement, though, as he's in your face and the knockbacks / mobility are a bit annoying for a caster.
Pick the appropriate raid difficulty depending on what transmog items you still need from them. For instance, the pretty sweet looking Iron Juggernaut drill mace comes in different colors depending on the difficulty you choose. Drop down to Normal / Heroic once you've gotten everything you needed from Mythic.

i contacted a GM today who confirmed to me that this is still available in BFA (patch 8.0.1) even with the introduction of the automatic system "Legacy Loot" if you outlevel the Instance by @ least 11 levels :)

For anyone that still runs SoO, I can confirm as of yesterday 10/09/2018 it still drops, and it drops even if you already have the set, I ran SoO on Mythic on my shaman with my wife on her shaman, for the mount and a chance that she may get the set too, I already got the set a few months back, we killed the dark shamans and the set popped up on my screen, many already knows this, but it's soulbound, so you can't trade it with another shaman in the group.Anyway, point is it still drops, good luck fellow shammies.

Inquired to a GM about this set still dropping (after 15 weeks of farming 3 shaman and no drop).

They apologized for my poor luck, but confirmed that it was still obtainable from normal, heroic, and mythic difficulties, then threw this at me...

"However, from what I can find, that item does indeed still have a chance to drop from each difficulty (Normal/Heroic/Mythic) so you can try for that 3 times each week if you farm each difficulty."

I don't see this mentioned in any of the latest comments so I wanted to post and let people know. This item is available on the black market auction house. There is one listed right now with the bid at 15k. This is my first time looking at the auction house today so I don't know if this is the price it starts at or if there are already people bidding on it. (It's 3:40pm - central time).

For those who are still wondering, I got confirmation from a GM today about if this is just a once a week drop regardless of difficulty, or if you get a chance per difficulty:

"As long as you are eligible for loot from the boss you should have a chance to loot this as a Shaman."

EDIT: It just dropped for me today on 07/09/2019 on normal. It was my first run of the week, but I've seen others post that it was looted after multiple runs. Good luck to anyone else still wanting this set!

You don't have to be 80+ to get the appearances saved to your transmog tab. I purchased Trésor du chaman kor'kron on my 78 Shaman from the BMAH and obtained the appearances after opening it.

EDIT: Item level is 90 but at level 80 you can transmog the set

My question is, if i buy it on say my DK from the BMAH will my Shaman be able to get the mog or will I lose out on the money? Will the DK even be able to open it? Only reason im asking is because I main on my DK and would hate to keep logging over to see if I have to rebid on the item.

I just had a GM confirm for me that if your bags are full you might not get this item, and it isn't the kind of thing that the postmaster will send to you. So, if you are killing/looting everything in the raid working up to the Dark Shamans, be careful of your bag space.

I can confirm it drops in 9.0.1.
I just did a normal difficulty run after years of trying and got it finally!
It goes directly into your inventory, so make sure you have free space.

Any reports of the set dropping after SL released in 9.0.2? I have been running it on normal and heroic since 7.3.5 Legion, on and off, and still haven't received it. Sometimes I even do it on mythic if no other tasks in wow. I'm getting sick of it tbh, but it's imo the best looking set for shamans there is.

TL;DR: Confirmed drop on mythic Patch 9.0.5 shadowlands 21/4-2021, level 48 alliance.

Finally, after farming it 9 times per week (normal, heroic, and mythic on x3 different characters), for god knows how many weeks (easily 2-3 months if not more) it finally dropped!
I am so glad it's finally done, no more dreading reset day... easily the best set for orc shaman imho!

Finally it dropped for me and I am here to share all the tips with you!
I was farming this for around 6 months on TWO shamans so be prepared for a long grind as this is not uncommon.
It DOES NOT MATTER what difficulty you kill them on, I got mine on normal.
You only get ONE chance a week regardless of the difficulty so don't give yourself any more pain then required by farming this on any difficulty harder than normal.

- The fallen protectors (3 monks) can bug so to avoid it rather kill them instantly (1 shot) or wait a few seconds.
- Sha of pride room full of adds, get your Earth Ele out, he will get agro on the mobs making it much easier to just ghost wolf and run around to collect them in to one big group
- On the boat after Sha of pride, talk to Jaina so she opens the portal and then you can water walk yourself to run over to the cannons a bit faster (a bit faster as ally than horde) start from the far end of the cannons this is because if you start from the opposite side of the dock you can blow two cannons up (2nd and 3rd cannon from far side) with one explosion, just try to stand inbetween them because the bomb explosion seems to be based on where you are stood.
- Galakras - try to run upstairs to the cannon asap (don't even wait for demolisher) you can kill the dragons before they're above the platform making it much easier to shoot galakras down immediately. If you kill them and they die ON the platform with the cannon, their hitbox is huge and you won't be able to shoot Galakras as their bodies do not despawn for a while.
- Iron juggernaut can also bug and the gate won't open, I usually wait a few seconds before killing him
- You don't need to kill ANY trash outside dark shamans
- You don't need to wait for RP to finish to kill the dark shamans

Best of luck with the grind and if you use these tips you can run it in around 15-20mins.

I can confirm it still drops in 9.1! I'm so happy I finally got this. Screenshot.

I have been farming this since Legion, on and off. Sometimes in the beginning, I would clear normal, heroic and mythic, and sometimes I would just do normal depending on my time. I never saw any reports of people getting them on the 2nd run of the week (i.e. doing normal, and getting them on heroic the run after for example), so I just decided to create a lockout on my alt, invite myself, and do this boss once per week on heroic.

After probably more than 100 weeks of farming, it finally dropped. Best looking shaman set for me without a doubt. Really happy I got this!

For me one of the worst thing about the farm was I was never sure if its still available, since you cant see it in the dungeon journal as an optional drop. Finally got this after years of farming! I can confirm this still drops in dragonflight!

Edit: I wanted to mention that you don't actually "loot" this item but receive it, immediately after defeating the boss. Maybe that helps to make the grind of others faster.
Edit 2: I got it on Normal difficulty.

I can confirm this still drops as of 10.0.2 on Mythic. After nearly 100 attempts with my Shaman off and on over the years (not counting when MoP was current), it's finally dropped for me. I actually got the mount from Garrosh quicker than I got the treasure, so I guess I traded my luck on the treasure for luck there.

Also can confirm that the treasure isn't looted from the bosses, it pops up as a separate prompt on kill and goes straight to your inventory.

FYI: The Dark Shaman Set does not appear as a separate Set in the Outfits.

Backstory: In DF I have been farming this set and today I was wondering why rarity was not tracking my shaman kills. I double checked every prebuilt set, but the Dark Shaman was not among them. I did expect it to be treated as a hidden set.

Turns out rarity was not bugged - there is no set - the items get added separately in each category.

Don't know if this is just RNG or not but before this run I've changed loot spec to ele (playing enhance on all my shamans) and it dropped (did like 21 runs in total).

Just dropped for me on Normal. Been at this on and off with two shamans for a couple years. The only thing I did differently this time was starting the engagement and kill one of the wolves first, then let them attack me for about 30s before I killed them. Doubt it makes a difference, but you never know. GL everyone!
