If you manage to get this ring as "Of the bear"(14.3% chance) It would make a great tanking ring.

Not unlike many other rings with random enchantments, this one also has the possibility to drop a Stamina, Concentration, Regeneration and various Resistance types. WoWArmory confirms this, with a maximum of +15 on the Stamina version, making it the Best in Slot tanking ring for a 49 Warrior or Pally tank. It'll be nice to start farming these with much more ease come 3.2 since you'll be able to turn off all XP gains. I'll be able to get one for every occasion!

EDIT: It appears that the random enchantment stats for this ring along with a large variety of other items were removed entirely and had base stats and new level requirements applied. Very sad, as there appears to be no good reasoning behind this and was a huge blow to twinks. The Shattering, it seems, has had more cons than pros.

I got "of the Owl" ring today, with 10 int and 9 spirit, as prot paladin.Im still considering using it because of it's def rating attribution.

Still dropping as of patch 5.1, but compared to earlier posts, the stats have now changed to +8 Strength, + 8 Stamina, +12 dodge.

Changed to Unique-Equipped with 7.3

Found out since I had two of them equipped on one of my alts (61 mog farmer) and then after logging into him today (first time in a couple weeks) saw that he had one of them in his inventory. Disappointing .. Seems I now have to find another ring for him.
