Most likely requires you to be in Ashran for this to properly function, as most of the other books seem to show.

I've been a supported of the stat squish the whole time, but this item single-handedly makes me call into question my staunch stat-squish suppositions. We could have seen at least a 4 million damage Trait du chaos to some Warlock's face. Oh well...

This item drops from the rares found around Ashran, criteria for Cibles majeures. So far, out of 4 kills I got the manual on all of then and occasionally even had 2 drop at a time. All the party members received a manual corresponding to their class. Killing them required around 3-4 people, depending on your composition (tank/healer/hybrids, etc).

It does not work with and persists through death. Buff lasts for an hour.
