Although the Cristal temporel fracturé is categorized as a Crafting Reagent, it's only use is to combine ten (10) of them to create one (1) Cristal temporel. Other than that, Cristal temporel fracturés are not used in any enchantments or recipes, nor do they provide any Enchantement skill-up points when combined (at least not at Enchantement skill level 600 or above). Therefore you should not hesitate to convert all Cristal temporel fracturés into the more useful Cristal temporels, and consider selling any remainders (stacks of less than 10) to free up your bag space.

For players without enchanting, using an enchanting plot in your garrison seems to return 3 shards for each level 100 epic disenchanted. For those with an eye toward profit and efficiency, multiply the going rate for whole crystals by 0.3 (3/10) to get the worth of disenchanting an epic. It may be worth selling the item to a vendor and buying the whole crystal, depending on market prices.

Example:
Crystals going for 150. Disenchanting gives you an approximate worth of 45g if you collect and combine shards.

As of the time of posting, whole crystals are going for approximagely 135g. You get approximately 40g in shards.
Chemise de mailles brodée de mousse vendors for 44g and change. At the 135g price point, it's worth selling the item to the vendor rather than collecting the shards.
