This is a brilliant Pre-MC tanking neck piece. The +def and +stam is great. You should be able to pick this up cheaply off the AH and is a must for any level 52-60 tank.

Personally as a prot pala I think I'd rather have a Woven Ivy Necklace. with a little bit more stam, plus the strength and agi you get, I think its superior. Plus you can get it at level 44 if you have a high level friend to run you through the quest.

Of course once you reach 57 there will be better outland greens on the AH.

As Danroe noticed, this seems to almost certainly be a reference to Chuck Norris, who played Cordell Walker, a member of the Texas Rangers, thus "Grand Marshal"

Just had this drop for me while farming the Baron's mount, so I had to find out what the story was behind it. Guess there isn't much of one, huh. Who knows: it may well sell when people are levelling their new race/class combos in Cataclysm. Good for two or three levels and people tend to have a fair amount of gold to throw around by this level. I'm thinking 50g is a fair price in today's economy. Sure beats disenchanting it!
