J'ai eu le plan hier soir en faisant le raid en mode normal.
J'ai bien failli ne pas l'avoir. J'ai regardé sur le boss une première fois, il y avait deux équipements qui devaient être distribués par le maître de butin et il n'y avait pas la recette.
J'étais un peu dégouté qu'elle ne tombe pas. J'ai voulu regarder à nouveau histoire de bien me dégouter. Et, j'ai été vraiment surprise, car, la deuxième fois que j'ai regardé, il y avait toujours les deux équipements toujours en attente pour savoir qui les voulaient et en avait besoin. Et la recette est apparue d'un coup dans le butin du boss.
J'aurais peut-être dû faire un screen, mais j'ai été vraiment surprise de la voir apparaitre comme ça. Peut-être qu'il y a eu un bug, je ne sais pas. Mais, si elle n'apparait pas tout de suite, n'hésitez pas à regarder à nouveau le butin du boss et/ou à attendre. Franchement, j'ai bien failli ne pas regarder une deuxième fois tellement j'étais triste d'autant plus que c'était le seul loot que je voulais sur ce boss.

J'ai pu remarquer qu'elle n'était pas soumise à la décision du maître de butin. J'ai pu la ramasser sans attendre. Et les autres joueurs ne la voyaient pas. Donc, je ne sais pas si c'est bien le cas, mais il semblerait qu'il s'agisse d'un butin personnel.

La recette ne peut être apprise que si l'on a 800 en forge. Mais, elle tombe quand même. J'étais à 796 donc ne vous inquiétez pas si vous n'avez pas 800, elle tombera quand même (avec de la chance).

Had these plans drop off Tichondrius on normal in the Nighthold during testing. It showed up for both me and another raid member who was a Blacksmith, so this is likely the sole source of it.

im pretty sure this will be only on normal and higher raid difficulty. those who will be slacking in LFR for this will get nothing. joy or sadness... depends :) but well, good to have another proof mount. prices will be insane for this on AH but its worth it. or maybe no, cause model is same as from molten core mount on anniversary event back few months... :) meh... different color doesnt bring me wish to get it so much, was hoping it will be more impressive!

Can anyone confirm if the plans drop if you're below 800 Blacksmithing?

Based on watching Twitch streams since Nighthold has opened, this does drop from Tichondrius but is not at 100% drop.

One Normal raid had three Blacksmiths, two of them got the recipe.
One Heroic raid had at least two Blacksmiths, one of them got the recipe (neither of them had Blacksmithing level 800).

The drop rate is not %100 (or maybe it is %100 but only 1 recipe from the boss, i am not sure because it only dropped 1 recipe for a guildie and not to me) and it doesn't require you to have 800 BS to receive it (but you need to have 800 BS to learn it). My guild mate wasn't 800 BS and he won the recipe. I had 800 BS and was waiting for this recipe but i didn't get any :/

Dropped for me at Tichondrious normal in Nighthold on the day the Nighthold opened.
Got it with a skill of 669.
Sold it at 11:00 pm for 600.000 Gold on Aegwynn-EU.

Finally i am rich.

Sooo, as fate would have it I did not receive this recipe on opening week (which seems to be my luck thus far in legion) nor did anyone else in my raid. I farmed up mats for months to make multiple mounts for myself, raid leader, and put a few on AH to try and take advantage of inflated prices, it looks like by the time I get the recipe everyone else will have flooded the market with them and I'll be lucky to make 80k off it, while the lucky ones (Probably the same people to get legendry's upon freshly hitting 110 at launch) will comfortable make 250k-600k first week. So yea I'm a bit salted...

Official statement: guaranteed drop on Normal on higher (source: https://twitter.com/WarcraftDevs/status/844941818592608256).
Additional info from a GM: it has been confirmed that if there is at least one blacksmith with the 800 that there will be an drop. But from what has been seen so far that is for the raid - not each individual player.
We have killed him on Mythic twice in the last two weeks, both times with Blacksmiths with 800 skill in the raid, the recipe didn't drop on either kill.
This is a bug, my guildmate got the recipe sent to him by a GM, I was instead told to write a bug report... Waiting for the result on that...

CAN'T.BE.DONE.ON.LFR. Tried it for 3 weeks in LFR, always saw the Scribe patterns but never this one. Read some threads here and there... /sigh /breathe, Took 10 guildies (900-ish iLvl), and basically treated it like a normal dungeon. Pattern dropped and I pulled a legendary off of Tichondrius at the same time. Must be LvL 800 BS to LEARN the pattern. No sweat right. Right. Learn your Rank 2 BS recipes.
Side note. I did this yesterday, 10/14/17 and I was at 786 BS.

How?
Gather what is needed to make each pattern ONCE. That's right, go grind or buy or beg. INCLUDING 3000g. NOW, got the mats? Good. Go to Ironhorn Enclave and go over to the big . Craft each Rank 1 DEMONSTEEL item in front of Muirn Corne-de-Fer.
You'll see a quest icon appear above Muirn Corne-de-Fer after you craft each piece. After you've learned all the rank 2's fly to Stormheim and visit Valdemar Cherche-Tempête.
This vendor sells Plans : heaume en démonium and it does NOT require Exalted with Valarjar at this time . The guy before me was Neutral and bought it for 3000g. I am/was Revered and bought it for 2250g. Once I learned the Rank 3 for the Helm, it was orange and worth 5 points per craft. Which took me to 800. And BOOM, learned the pattern.

I can confirm that this recipe can drop if you simply have blacksmithing. I had 11 blacksmithing and it dropped for me the first time in normal. There wasn't any blacksmtih in the raid with 800 skill, only with 650 and he got the recipe too. So it can drop for 2 blacksmithers even if they are the only ones in the raid.

Still drops for Normal Tichondrius. Solo at ilvl 320, a little challenging but not too bad. Just clear the room first so you don't get feared into the adds who can stun you for 10 seconds.

This will drop for you on Normal, Heroic, and Mythic difficulties ONLY if you have one point or higher in Legion Blacksmithing. If you do not have Blacksmithing learned for the Legion xpac it will not drop from Tichondrius regardless if you have other expansions leveled up.

I did run Nighthold on heroic SL 9.1.5, 2022-01-05! Did get it in the first try! So it seems like it has 100% drop rate or just lucky with RNG! Did have 5/100 legion BS skill!

Just ran Mythic Nighthold today on a toon with blacksmithing, but no legion blacksmithing. Comments vary on the drop rate of the recipe but I got it on my first try, so I'm uncertain if it's 100% or not, take this as you will and hope this helps.

Confirmed that pattern dropped today on normal difficulty on my BS toon with only 1 point in Legion BS on first attempt.

Says you need legion blacksmithing to make. So if you never learned this during Legion, can you not learn it anymore?

If the plans are not dropping for you, you may want to check your bank. Apparently, I had received the drop awhile ago and stored it there. Blizzard support was very kind in pointing out that it was in my bank.
