J'ai essayé de l'invoquer dans ma Ferme de Micolline, juste pour voir, et il est arrivé comme une créature "verte" non-hostile que je n'ai pas pu attaquer pour le looter méchament.

Je pense que des choses ont changé, en date du 26 août 2023.

Pas un problème pour moi, vu que je suis très en retard sur les extensions (j'ai commencé avec Shadowlands), et que l'archéologie de Légion c'est plus pour les Haut Faits, les Montures et la Lance de Rethu pour mes futurs nouveaux persos.

I believe I picked this up while digging in a Demonic dig zone in Stormheim. The reason I am unsure is I don't remember receiving it, but, looking at my chat log I can see I picked it up right after digging up an artifact.. Came here to find out what it was and found nothing. When used it spawned a Collecteur langue-de-wyrm. I was able to spawn this in my Hall of the Guardian.

I too picked this up while digging in a Demonic dig zone in Stormheim. When killed the summoned Collecteur langue-de-wyrm dropped three stacks of 8x Fragment archéologique démoniaque scattered some distance around him, for a total of 24x Fragments.

This Petrified Wyrmtongue drops from demonic archaeology dig sites in Stormheim, when summoned & killed he drops an additional 3 lots of demonic archaeology fragments scattered about him, random amounts, and can also drop another Petrified Wyrmtongue so you can kill him all over again.
Second time around he dropped 16 fragments alone from his corpse.

Really kind of weird this exists as Wyrmtongue Collector's just shows up the majority of time. I guess this one allows you to make it show up when and where you want it.

Be careful, the other faction can tag it before you do. You can still get the thrown fragments though, so not sure it matters.

Kind of far from everyone else's, but it has been a VERY strange day in WoW for me.....

I just used this in a mountainside graveyard. Killed the collector and all the fragments were in a pile under him.

Something to note: These are NOT unique, however they do not stack.

Used to be able to use these in LFR, but can't use them in Argus's throne room (or anywhere in the Antorus raid to my knowledge).

Going for the Groundbreaker Title and managed to stack up a whole 20 slot bag of these. Turns out you can go into an area like Goldshire, use all 20 at once, Shadowmeld/die, and then watch the carnage unfold. They scale to level, so they don't instant kill or anything, but even someone in heritage gear won't be able to take on 5 at once.

Discovered I had this while in my Garrison. Tried to use it there... there was a 'use' ding and the item was gone, but he didn't show up to be killed. :/

At the time of this comment (patch 9.05), any archaeologists nearby who tag them with you before they're killed, regardless of whether they're in your party or not, can loot Fragment archéologique démoniaque from them with you. Tested this right in front of Trade District's auction house in Stormwind, and other players who helped kill them confirmed this. So, it may be nice if you save them for Stormwind or Orgrimmar so other archaeologists can benefit from them with you, and you save time by killing them faster.

Im collecting these in bulk to spawn near my friends. maybe its a way to kill people on your faction

Seems you can use it even in cities, spawned one in Oribos today.
