Finally, we get a sweeper pet!...Oh, just a toy. Still, great success! I've wanted one of these little twerps since I went to Court of Stars the first time.

Looking at the effect, it lasts for the duration of the cooldown. It's rare that Blizzard gives us reasonable cooldowns and durations. Here's hoping it stays like that!

Balayeur chapardé is a toy that drops from Cache de langue-de-wyrm curieux on The Broke Shore.
You'll need a Clé de cache de langue-de-wyrm in order to open the cache, which can be bought from Maître des trésors Iks'reeged for 2.000Éclat de Néant.

Maître des trésors Iks'reeged will only be available after you have completed the quest line.
This quest line goes in the following order:
1. Des araignées, hein ?
2. Pillage de tombe
3. Pillage de sépultures
4. Cimetière de bateaux
5. Nous, les chasseurs de trésors
6. Un véritable filon

After about 40 chests I finally had it. Note that in 7.2.5 they also added the vendor item as a toy, so you still need 50k shards after this one.

I bug-reported the guys above, hoping perhaps they'll be fixed. Especially the owl kitten.

It works with all other felines I could find, including the Fluxfire Feline.

As many have said, summoning a cat pet will cause it to jump on top of the Balayeur chapardé and ride it. The inspiration behind this I believe is all the 'Roomba Cat' videos that are so popular in which cats can't resist taking a ride on the Roomba -- a robot kitchen sweeper.

As noted by @scipio420 - wearing the Talisman of Treasure Tracking necklace guaranteed the toy for me.
Got it in my first chest after equipping the neck.

Here's what happened, I bought 11 keys, nothing. Went out, then went back in and turned the WQ in (100 Nethershards) which gave me a key. Opened a chest, it contained the Toy, the Pet, and 50k Nethershards. I don't know if it's just luck, but that's what happened.

As of now, if you are Venthyr with the Theotar trait "Token of Appreciation", having the Pilfered Sweeper out will cause Token to continuously proc on yourself, giving you a ton of free shields. Doesn't seem intended but might be minor enough to fly under the radar of getting fixed.

I went to Shattrath to buy the Talisman of Treasure Tracking necklace from Griftah, put it on and went back into Iks'reeged cave. After 3 attempts I got the toy from the large black chest in the middle.
