I expect this is intended to be the ingredient for the Kul Tiran Alchemy level 50 recipe for "Transmute: Meat to Pet" but the game currently is asking for the Pandaria scenario drop also called "Meaty Haunch" instead.

These have dropped for me from the following types of creatures (all beasts):
- Primal Snapjaw (crocolisks)
- Riverbeast
- Crawg

I've only gone through Nazmir and some of Zuldazar so far, but I'll update this list as I go through other zones.

I've had good luck farming Invasive Quillrats just northeast of Barrowknoll Cemetery in Drustvar. They have a good respawn rate and are easy to aoe down. The caveat is that the drop rate seems to be a little random, sometimes you'll kill a pack of 6 and get none, sometimes you'll get 7 haunches from a group of 2. I've found it better than farming the gorillas in Zuldazar since the area in smaller and the mobs are easier to group up and leash much less often.

A decent place to farm these is from the Fallhaven Pigs and Betsy in Drustvar at 58.21, 34.15.

For Alliance, its not far from the Fallhaven flight point. The pigs respawn pretty quickly, without having to move around much. As an iLevel 328 Shadow Priest, I was able to fairly comfortably take on up to 4 of them at a time without dieting. I only spent a few minutes here, but the drop rate seemed pretty good.

Like most of the cooking mats in this expansion, I've found the drops to be terribly random. I've been farming this off of the riverbeasts throughout Zandalar, but tonight I decided to track it more carefully in a new spot. It is a small sample but hopefully it will be helpful.

I went to Nazmir at 27.0, 93.6 in the very SW corner. There is a little shelf there that has a group of 8 - 10 Gorille à crête dorsale on one side of a stream and 3 -5 more on the other. As a 351 frost mage i made very quick work of them and then did a little fishing while waiting for them to respawn. I would also kill the Ancien à crête dorsale whenever it spawned along with the Alpha à crête dorsale. I did about four or five clears in exactly 30 minutes. My total count of Cuissot charnu was 46. The little bit of fishing in between yielded 7 Loche à caudale rouge and 8 Poisson-chat de la Grande mer.

My Cuissot charnu yield was helped by my max level skinning, since the gorillas are all skinnable. So far this is my favorite spot, because there are no other mobs to aggro, and I can fish in between spawns. If the drops remain at about 100 an hour it isn't terrible.

For Horde, fly to Swiftwind Post, Drustvar. Just outside the camp entrance, you will find plenty of Highland Boar and Highland Shoat which are are non aggressive.

The Shoats are easier to kill and seem to drop less meat, but I have had some Shoats drop up to 4 meats each. Sometimes you might kill five of the larger boar and not get any meat.

Depending on your kill rate, you should end up with at least 30 hunks of meat in less than 20 minutes.
