Very similar to the Sac palpitant of Legion origin, this is created by Alchemists using Transmutation : viande en mascotte.

After a real-time week, It eventually mutates into Sac grondant, which contains a pet. If this is anything like the Legion one, it will likely be a selection of common pets from previous expansions and pets unique to this item.

~~However, at the time of writing, this craft seems bugged, as the requisite Cuissot charnu - Of which we require 10 - are Unique-5. Because of this, it's not currently possible to get any data on this.~~

The reagents are now correct on live, but are yet to be updated on WoWhead - It requires 10 Cuissot charnues instead.

Had my first Quivering Sac of BFA mutate and "hatch" and all it contained was an Ancona Chicken pet. Guessing there are some others as well, but my first effort was a bit of a disappointment.

I opened my Quivering Sac today and received a Sac bleu ondulant. I tried to learn this pet and receive an error "The spell is not available to you", so I'm currently unable to learn this pet. Not sure if this issue is exclusive to this pet, or other Quivering Sac pets as well.

EDIT: This has been hotfixed and is now working properly as of 8/27/18.

First two - Blue Dragonhawk Hatchling and Hawk Owl.

I hope this isn't another case of Blizzard making new pets really low chances.

Edit (18 Dec 18) - I've now done 3 a week since launch and only have 2 of the new pets. Drop chance is really bad.

(And per comment below, I did have the common pets before this.)

So far, my guildmate and I have gotten Hawk Owl, Yellow Moth Egg, and Blue Dragonhawk hatchling. Very frustrating.

I opened my second sac today. It turned into a Grumbling sac yesterday after I logged off. Today I opened it to receive a Yellow moth egg (Last time was a raptor). BUT it popped the daily transmute CD. I think a 7 day wait for this is bad enough, given the low drop rate for something useful. To make it actually 8 days in this sneaky way is bad - real bad.

Blizzard must hate alchemists, all other profession pets are sure-fire, but alchemy ... nah! You wait 8 days for a common - not even rare quality - pet.

And all other professions can Scrap their products. I see that you could not scrap one potion at at time, this would be too OP, but maybe make like 10 of each into a scrappable one?

I have opened 4 sacs and received 4 trash pets. Would be nice to get a bfa pet from one...

Edit: It's almost been 5 months since release and I have received 1 BFA pet. Neat..

From my numerous tries it seems that what pet you'll get from Sac grondant is based entirely on luck and have no connection with the skill level.

Opened 14 so far (2 alchemists) and still no BFA pets. Drop rate is awful. Some rng is fine but we REALLY don't like beating our heads against the wall while "trying" to have some fun. Again with the fail, Blizz...

I hear sub's are way down..wonder why.

They have done something to the drop rate of the rare blue pets from these after 8.1

3 weeks now and not a SINGLE blue rare BFA pet. And I do this sac on 20 characters in total. That is 60 attempts.

I finally got a good one - the Wind-Up Frog - after doing this for about two months.

To everyone who is frustrated with it, my advice is to just have a little patience, I mean, how many times have you done a raid simply to get one piece of a mod?

Like really? Used most of the sac hatching cooldowns I was able to do, out of like 20 attempts I only got 1 (ONE!) new pet (it was Slippy)... The drop chance is ridiculously low and the 7 day duration until hatching is awful. At least the materials are petty, but still... worthless! :-/ I just wanted to get the pets to my collection, looks like I'll have to buy it from AH -_-

The sac is bind on pickup... does anyone know if the pets are as well, or can I sell any unwanted pets on the AH?

I probably had some extreme luck but i created 10x Quivering Sack on my toons last week and i got 3 of the 4 new bfa pets from the 10 sack.

Seems to be bugged in pre-patch. Has been stuck on "duration 2 days" for at least 2 days (ticket submitted).

Every other pet has the same name as the item dropped but these two.

I started doing this basically within the first month of BoA. Without fail I've done it every 7 days. We're now well into SL and I'm still missing 2 of the 3 rares. Blizzard you should be ashamed of this.

The tooltip for this should just say
"A quivering mass of transmuted meat... that will almost certainly turn into a Obsidian Hatchling in 7 days"
I've managed to get 7 in the past 8 weeks. Curse you RNG!

So. You're wondering if it's worth going through this extreme time-gated RNG hell for the 4 or 5 actually new/rare pets? Well. I'm here to tell you that the answer is NO!

Do yourself a favour, go onto your local AH and just buy them. Each one will be around 20k or so. So all up you'll spend about 80-100k. Not that big a deal in the grand scheme of things compared to the alternative.

Either wow will die or I will die, I don't know which will happen first but I'm certain one of them will happen before I ever get the final pet I'm missing from this thing.
