Arcanite bars you get from transmuting a Thorium Bar and Arcane Crystal by an Alchemist with a skill of at least 275. It does share a global cooldown with Primal Might so It is kinda hard to get somebody to do it for you these days (in the level 70 era). The dense grinding stones can be made by a Blacksmither,

You can skip obtaining the recipe and making the rod these days. Craft Enchant Shield - Greater Stamina till 300 and go and learn Runed Fel Iron Rod from a TBC trainer instead

Trying to find one of these on the AH these days is nigh on impossible and blacksmiths are too lazy to even make one for you. I hope Blizz change these rod's further that they can be skipped or purchased at a vendor because levelling enchanting from scratch now is horrible unless you have an alt/friend that can sort you with the rods.

i have both an alchemist and a blacksmith. thorium is cheap and so are arcane crystals. for 5g (if im too lazy to farm) i can make these rods and sell them for 65g. i often see them in the AH for 250g and it got me thinkin how unreasonable that was for someone to pay. i keep 5 in the AH. low cost so if it doesnt sell i still profit. i do the same with truesilver rods and gold rods. having transmution expert helps too. the occasional 2+ from a transmute is a complete bonus. this is a silent money maker i wanted to share with everyone since i got so many great tips from people on this site.

I did a test run with arcanite rod to see if you could really turn a profit with it. I don't have an enchanter at a high enough level to make the arcanite bars, so I had to buy them from AH at 10g each. I already had piles and piles of dense stones from spending all that time mining thorium, so that wasn't an issue at all. I went to the anvil, smithed out an arcanite rod and put it on AH. Then I left and when I came back 3 hours later, I had 69g in my mail from that one sale.

So, yes, it sold for twice what I spent on mats making it and it sold very fast. Any blacksmiths out there looking for a way to make money, you just found it.

Certainly you just found a good way to make money, but on the backs of us leveling enchanters.

Cheapest was 498 gold. Makes me a sad bunny enchanter.

1x Silex à aiguiser dense (Blacksmithing)

4x Pierre dense

3x Barre d'arcanite (Alchemy Transmutation : Arcanite, minimum skill 275, no cooldown)

3x Barre de thorium
3x Cristal arcanique

This is actually made by a Blacksmith not and Alchemist. O_o just for other people that you may trick XD
