Haha, yes I started to panic also, because I used the first cake I got, so I thought I won't get any more, but in 48 hours I did get 20 more and I abandoned the ticket after that xD.

As of December 16th, 2009 i completed the quest where you get the rain deer in tanaris, and also completed the quest with 5 cookies and 1milk. i didn't receive this item in the mail. i got this after i turned the cookies and milk quest in.

I feel sorry for anybody who does the Metzen quest on the 1st of January and gets this bag 48 hours later, on the 3rd (after Winter Veil ends).

Has anyone received the Extra Special gift, this year, 2011?

In reading the updated Wowhead Winter Veil guide, there is no mention of this gift.

I am frustrated because I need the blasted fruitcake. I used mine when I had a guildie's winter garb. I didn't realize that the clothes needed to "repaired" since last year. I didn't get the achieve because of this.

I wrote a ticket asking for a new fruitcake more than 24 hrs ago and have yet to hear anything.

UPDATE : I wrote my first ticket on Friday afternoon, and there was no response. I wrote a second ticket on Saturday afternoon, again no response.
Finally at 7:30 on Sunday morning, Blizzard responded and stated that the Winter Clothes needed repair, and they had sent me some fruitcake.
There were 5 fruitcakes waiting in my mailbox this morning. It took more than 40 hrs after the first ticket to get a response.

I do not think this item (Extra Special Gift) is in the game anymore.
if you need more fruitcake, you have to write a ticket.
I would write it as soon as possible.
And keep writing Blizzard tickets until you get your fruitcake.
