Do these still drop? I've been soloing Kara for a while now and have yet to see these at any point.

As of August 16, 2011 - I can confirm this pattern still exists. I was doubting it. But I got them to drop today.

I have been clearing Kara for weeks now, but only doing the one time through trying for the mount to drop as well off Midnight. But this time, I just went to the ballroom and killed every attendant in the place, zoned out and then reset without killing any bosses. On my fourth reset, the pattern dropped.

Took me a little less than twenty minutes. Why did I not do it that way SOONER?

Decided to find a use for all the Soul Essences I get farming for the mount each week (occasionally go further for pets but only when I'm really bored :P) and decided to attempt to sell the soul cloth items (since no one is buying the essences)

Did 2 trash resets yesterday and nothing - however I learnt how to make soulcloth and had the shoulders and chest both drop in one run (in fact 2 of this pattern dropped off the same pack of mobs) not sure if knowing how to make the cloth has anything to do with the drop rate but might be helpful (although lets be honest most people will already have the pattern if they are looking to make the items - unless your a bit special like me :P)

I'm still trying to get this recipe. As of now Jun 26th 2014 and no drop yet.

I just had this drop off a Hantise ignoble - the second one on the Broken Stair, right off the 3rd floor of the Opera House.

So it still drops, and not just off the ballroom mobs.

Dropped today on Anvilmar server.Also had Formula: Enchant Weapon - Spellsurge drop. RNGesus smiled upon me, since I was on my Tailor / Enchanter.

once again, these shoulders do NOT match the vest, what is up with all this yellow THEY insist on adding to SO many patterns? what would have been wrong with putting in WHITE to match the VEST?

The drop rates for the two soulcloth patterns in Karazhan, Patron : Epaulières d'âmétoffe and Patron : Gilet d'âmétoffe, are probably much better than the 0.3% and 0.8% WoWHead reports. WoWHead gets their data from players who are running their data app, and calculates the drop rate from those returns. They generally do not factor in who is eligible to obtain the item and who is not. These two patterns drop only for tailors. I'd estimate that the drop rate for tailors is at least three times better than the reported drop rate.

This is consistent with how often I've seen the patterns drop, how much effort it has taken to farm them (easier than it seemed it would be), and how the other posts talk about getting the item relatively quickly.

took like 35 lockouts to get this pattern, got the other pattern in like 4 runs.....easy way to get to these mobs, turn right and in that room 2 mob packs have them, then go in the hallway and up the steps and do the turn around and 2 mobs packs up there, hop off balcony to entrance and reset......should be like 4 mobs packs total (what it seemed like to me) the other npcs are hanging out in that first main room and i think the other one is upstairs (forgot) but yeah 4 mobs packs in 2 rooms, happy farming!

Went wandering into Karazhan proper today, after many visits to the Servant's Quarters to skin bats/hounds for leather, found a room full of Undead folks who were quite testy about getting interrupted... doing whatever it was they were doing... and after they tried giving me a beat-down I lit the place up. Imagine my surprise when this pattern dropped. Had no idea it even existed. Now I'll have to visit again, and maybe the OTHER pattern will drop as quickly as this one. I can only hope! 31 Jan 2019.

Took me roughly 15 resets. Drop rate is fairly low, but it's a very fast farm with fast resets.

Enter Karazhan at the normal entrance (not the side entrance). Don't kill any bosses. Just run up the stairs into the Grand Ballroom (the first room only) and then the Banquet Hall behind it upstairs both have the Valet fantôme (standing against the walls) & Domestique fantôme (standing in a circle, 2 groups downstairs & 2 groups upstairs). for both Patron : Gilet d'âmétoffe & Patron : Epaulières d'âmétoffe. Kill them, then run outside and reset & repeat. (No 30 minutes reset wait.)

Got Patron : Gilet d'âmétoffe on 1st run (Mythic 10p)
Got Patron : Epaulières d'âmétoffe after 3 Mystic 10p, 1 Mystic 25p, then got it on my first Heroic 25p.

6 runs total.
