These are tricky to find because they're very small (about the size of a Draenai lower leg), almost exactly the same color as the ground they're sitting on, and don't sparkle noticably unless you're essentially standing on them. That said, there's a lot of them and (as mentioned) they respawn extremely quickly. Walk next to a village and mouseover everything nearby, you'll find them eventually.

44,66. No mobs here, nothing. The resp time seems to be around 30 sec, so youll get this quest done in around 3 min, without having to move :P

It's probably an idol depicting Therazane, the Stonemother.

I don't know much about the lore surrounding the Feralfen, but it fits.

The icon for this reminds me of the idol used in the film the 13th Warrior as the picture here shows. It depicts the earth mother.

Another link to this film (for me at least) is that the picture of the Litch king reminds me of a character from this film, Buliwyf, played by Vladimir Kulich. There's a bit at the end of the film where Buliwyf dies and it reminds me of the Litch King sitting on his throne on the load up screen.

The film itself got pretty poor reviews, but I love it.

if you want an easy quest hint when you get this quest here it is head for Concordances 48.6 / 64.8 and repeat till you have all of the idol with out killing the town for them

Well, this seems to be a popular icon . . . Almost all statue/doll/idol thingies have this as their icon.
