This item is currently bugged in that it's tied to the global cooldown, but it's in the process of being fixed. From the patch notes for 2.2:

Adamantite Figurine: This item is no longer affected by global cooldowns.

To clarify, uncrushability% is the combination of Dodge%, Block%, Parry% and %to be missed.

Note: Druids have 0 Block%, and 0 Parry%. therefore, for druid tanks this item only contributes 1.08% toward uncrushabilty%.

A rare drop from Blackheart the Inciter in Shadow Lab, also known as one of the most frustrating fights in the entire game. The drop rate is low, but I got lucky somehow, and had it drop on my first attempt. Most people may have to farm him over and over to get him to drop this nice little tanking trinket.

The 12% drop rate that is listed on this item is totally bogus. I ran this instance 17 times for it to drop!

100/17 = 5.88%

Was is worth it?

Well, I ran this lvl's 68-70, spent prolly more than 24 hours in Shadow Labs since I was group dependent at that lvl.

When it finally dropped though, I ran with a lvl 80 paladin friend and it took 3 runs that evening.

Just a heads up guys, this one could take a while to farm if you dont have a lvl capped friend to help out. Because if your in a group, ofcourse they want a full clear, they dont care that you just wanna kill the second boss!

Thinking about soloing this on my DK to get the trinket to get closer to the def cap, dont think it will be too much of an issue. At least it might be fun, how do you MC yourself lol.

I ran shadow lab over and over again on my warrior during BC to get this...never even saw it drop. I was looking for tanking trinkets for my death knight, and thought, hey why not? It dropped on my first run :D

Hug the left wall as soon as you enter the instance and follow it all the way to Blackheart's room. Pull the groups separately and run behind the pillars so you can round up the casters. Be careful, most of the mobs here will flee at low health, and if you let them aggro another group, you're probably dead.

Blackheart himself is a total pushover. When you're the only one fighting him he doesn't do the mind control stuff, he just stands there and auto-attacks, occasionally doing a move that pushes you up in the air. Extremely easy!

Fairly easy solo as an 80 DK, but I've just been really unlucky on drops, around 20 clears at this point with no drops makes me sad in the pants.

I am too on the list of DK tanks trying to get this trinket... with abismal drop rates... 30 kills now, with no luck. I have seen ever other item on hit loot table drop 2 - 4 times. Having played wow for 2 years now, perhaps I'm lucky... But i have never attempted to get a normal drop item so many times with no luck. After some research I have come to the conclusion that I am not alone here.

Ok, this thing still drops. Got it after 30 runs or so finally got it...my g/f is leaving me and my dog moved next door, but I've got the trinket!
