How do you get those tokens, & where do you get them from?

The items drop from bosses within the high-end raids (Karahzan, Magtherion's Lair, etc.). Once you have a token that is appropriate for your class, you can trade it in at the vendor for your faction in Shattrath City (either Aldors or Scryers) for a equivelent piece of the tier 5 armor set (i.e. chestguard of the vanquished hero = rift stalker hauberk, for a hunter).

This is just a rough progression of the new tiers. Starting with Karazhan all the way up to Magtheridon (Including Gruul's Lair) for the T4 sets, etc...

All tier 5 tokens such as this one can be exchanged for the appropriate tier piece at the following vendors: Kelara (a female Drenaei) who is located in the right room of the building at the back of the Aldor rise in Shattrath. Or Veynna Dawnstar (a female Blood Elf) who is located in the lower part of the main building in the back of the Scryer's tier, she is to the left of the roped off bookshelves in the middle of the room.

If you have done the introduction to Shattrath quest (City of Light) and have chosen to accept and deny the membership to either the Aldor or Scryers you may only visit the vendor corresponding to the faction you have chosen to ally with. If you have not done the quest you may visit which ever vendor you prefer.

I came on here looking where to turn in the tokens for the black set and didn't find it, so here are my findings. Hope they help.

You can exchange these for two different sets. The blue colored set Kelara sells on the Aldor rise / Veynna Aubétoile on the Scryer rise.

If you are looking for the black colored set specifically, you are looking for Olus, a male Draenei on the Isle of Quel'Danas. He is at the top of the tower just south of Sun's Reach (the inn). There are 3 dailies inside at the bottom to mark the way.

While weeding out my storage space today on my hunter I happened to notice that (seemingly) items such as this have been changed.

The flavor text (what i first noticed while doing said weeding) now says "Use: Create a class set item appropriate for your loot specialization"

Curious, I tried clicking on the item while it was in my bags (my toon was standing in Stormwind) and it became the chest piece.

Specifically when clicked on, for me this item became Rift Stalker Hauberk: Haubert de traqueur des failles/rift-stalker-hauberk

I did NOT have to go visit a vendor to turn it in or exchange it in any way.
