Pretty handy for Mother Sharaz, and I dare say that's the reason this fish was introduced. Most guilds don't craft the shadow resist legs as they're quite expensive in terms of Hearts of Darkness (3, as opposed to the bracers, belt, boots and cape which all cost 1 each), and resort to each member filling in the gaps - usually with the cloak enchant, an SR armor kit or two, and an old piece of gear here or there, often with a Lower City SR head enchant, Violet Eye shoulder resist glyph, or a void sphere (or 3 ^^).

This here recipe alleviates the need for 8 of that SR, and thus lightens the restriction on the gear and enchants a particular player can go with for this fight. ^^

This food isnt for just anyone fight. It was designed for endgame raiding and pvp at level 70. ALthough some fights find the increase that much more useful.

You can get the Rec to cook them from a rare drop from the daily cooking quest reward givin by the Rokk in sharath city. You also need to cook this in order to gain the achievement Kickin' it up a Notch.

Bloodfin Catfish, along with Crescent-Tailed Skullfish, are new fish added in 2.3 to Deadwind Pass and inside ZA
