If you kill 100-200 guys and don't the get the sigil, unfortunately that means nothing. It drops off the guys that you expect, but the drop rate might be terrible. Or it might be fine.

My 70 took my wife's alt through there, and I crushed a lot of mobs. No sigil. We came back with another person her lvl, and I was about to give up after it didn't drop for a while. It dropped off one of the last five people it could have before I quit.

Moral of the story is, it does drop. It might drop more with teammates the right lvl for the quest. I know that probably isn't officially true, but lvl certainly seems to have an affect on drops.

I never had a problem getting this item when I was lower lvl.

You might not believe it but thats all the same to me. The sigil of strom was the only yellow quest i had so i went over to kill some. I started attacking a conjuror and also tagged a Thief with me. I almost killed the thief before he ran away and got into another one. As a 35 rogue i had some trouble with the fight but after and Evasion, A pot, and a bandage i took all 3 of them + the voidwalker. It dropped on the second mob:) I can understand the drop rate is pretty low but sometimes someone gets lucky, you should just hope its u.

The good news seems to be that for most classes these mobs are very easy to kill now that they're non-elites. It might take loads of kills to get the sigil, but that just means a lot of XP and a lot of fun!

I think the drop rate went way up sometime after 2.4. I've never had to kill more than about 10 or 15 of these guys for the sigil.

I've done this quest on all my toons and have learned to be patient, always seeing the drop sometime between 45 and 90 minutes. My first new toon in about eight months, and I got it on the third drop. I have to think they upped the drop rate. I'm never that lucky.

Dropped after the 5th mob. Might just be me, but I don't count on it with my luck. Good luck farming it though.
