My best guess is that they will change the 84 crit to 84 resilience, since it's a pvp reward, then leave the proc on there. Doesn't make sense to have a second trinket with the exact same stats as sundial of the exiled, especially considering that's what they did with Anvil of Titans/Mirror of Truth.

That being said, if it stays 84 crit/590SP proc I will definitely have to pick it up.

This trinket does NOT stack with Sundial of the Exiled.

I tested this today, and if one procs and the other does 1 second later, the second buff will override the first, essentially "resetting" the 10 second buff, making the effect last 11 seconds.

That said, one can proc, then 10 seconds later, the other can -- you'd just take your chances on one buff being wasted.

They share the same spell but they don't share a cooldown on getting the buff after eachother.
So that's why the buff keeps overstacking your current Sundial buff.
Not good for Pve.

This trinket will most likely end up having 84 resilience rating + the proc while the crit will be removed.
There is also a trinket for physical dmg classes with those stats and a similar proc Anvil of Titans

I am thinking this is a great trinket for a Discipline healer, and is not too difficult to obtain from playing in Wintergrasp. Otherwise I can keep hoping Bliz will look and properly itemize for Plate, Mail, Leather and Cloth wearers at some point in time.

It seems to always go off when I buff in arena, and with the internal CD, I wouldn't have a chance of it proccing in the start of a fight. Does anyone know if internal CD's reset when an arena game starts?

for people that are unsure, i think it would be fairly safe to say that this is one of two best possible trinkets to couple with your Medallion of the horde as a caster for PvP, if you're looking to stack resilience as high as you can.

The other would be Darkmoon Card: Beserker!. Which is better is purely subjective, depending on playstyle, personal preference, and the benefits your caster class gets from crit rating. I haven't quite decided which one i will use permanently yet, but i plan to get both and give them each a go to see which yields me the best results.

Darkmoon Card: Berserker! is a good trinket to combo with Flow of Knowledge as caster and human in special.

Any idea how often it procs? I am using Winged Talisman and have a macro to trigger with my POM - it lasts 20 secs compared to 10 on this and I can use it every two minutes.

I already have 540ish resilience so that is not really weighing in with me right now.

Thoughts/comments?

New casters on pvp generally get this trinket to a big bost of resilience and it's pretty nice farm the WG marks since you can do dailies (for good gold and honor) and farm tons of honor off the battle.

So the 590 of SP for 10secs is just great plus resilience.

Adviced to any caster that's gearing up to pvp (most of pve trinkets are way better than this one)

The spell power increase happens all the time when I cast normal stuff like Fel Armor, Summon Dreadsteed or Soul Link, but rarely in combat... :-/

It's like they programmed it to be happening more often with spells that you regularly do out of combat!

says 10% proc if you click on the "Equip: Your spell casts have a chance to increase your spell power by 590 for 10 sec." and go to the proc itself in wowhead

however, if its anything like the other chance on cast, hit, heal, etc, it usually procs within the first few casts if not the first, and has predictable uptime afterwards

good starter trinket regardless, though considering spell casters can have more control over which spells they want to boost, may want to take the pump up one instead (Platinum Disks of Sorcery or Swiftness)

I am not sure why trinkets like this would be useful for the PvP environment. Personally, I find myself waiting for an actual opponent to give an opportunity, not waiting for a trinket proc to give an opportunity. Especially if the 10% proc rate listed is accurate. As of now, however, I suppose I can just pay the WG marks to test it myself and just get a refund if I'm not happy.

Some may want it though, and if so, be sure to tell me. I can understand if you can stack the SP bonus with on-use effects like Platinum Disks.
