This pet is NOT obtainable on live. It was a fun little joke by Blizzard to replace loot on non-itemized bosses.

You CANNOT get this pet on live realms, regardless of what you do on the PTR.

This guy is the mini-version of the 4th boss in Ulduar, XT-002 Deconstructor,
(http://www.wowhead.com/?npc=33293).
This one was only obtainable trough the PTR and is in no way obtainable in the live servers.

Edit; as of Patch 3.3.3., a lookalike pet was released for the live servers. It's currently only obtainable trough the World of Warcraft Store and costs 10.00$ or 10.00 euros.

What was the point of this, there was no way anyone even had 40 Certificates of Appreciation to make it and if it was for the PTR only that is just stupid.

But the spell for the pet is on the live server so maybe just maybe.

Well, it is just a downmodled version of XT-002. Which means, it has the same detail level as that actual boss, and it's huge, downsize it and, what you got? seemingly a very high detailed little pet.
