For any engineers planning on stacking this with Hyperspeed Accelerators; there is currently a 10-sec "burst" cooldown which not allow you to use these at the same time. (They can still be stacked by using the trinket first since it lasts for 20 seconds.)

As strange as it may sound, this trinket may be a necessity for anyone who wishes to attempt to have a successful Arena career as a Priest who's specced deep-Holy instead of deep-Disc.

Any seasoned Disc Priest knows that one of the most amazing spells in their arsenal is Power Infusion. It allows you to either assist your team in burning out maybe half of an enemy's health bar with PI + Penance/Holy Fire/Mind Blast/SW:D, or you can instead opt to PI + Mana Burn spam on an unfortunately positioned and stunned healer. The lack of Power Infusion seriously hinders a Holy Priest from imitating one of the Disc's Priest's main offensive capabilities.

However, with this trinket, Priests basically get themselves a free Power Infusion, as well as some extra resilience to boot. For Holy, this means they've basically just gotten themselves an amazing offensive, or defensive, option. With the lack of Penance, Holy Priests will really want to speed up how quick their Flash Heals and Seren'd Greater Heals are healing their targets. For Disc, you've just gotten yourself an extra Power Infusion, which also costs no mana.

Not a bad choice for a trinket if you don't find yourself needing the on-use +Spell Power to survive bursts. Perhaps a definite must-have trinket for anyone brave enough to try Serious Holy PVP in the Arena.

I use this trinket alongside power infusion and trolls berserker all the time for mana burning and getting that last little bit of health gone on the focused target in arenas. i think this is the best of the WG trinkets for disc priests by far. resillience and haste on demand is better than a little extra healing power. The only other better trinket option for disc might be a battlemaster trinket

Another use for this besides the obvious mana burning.

Platinum disk + Power Infusion + Borrowed Time

= 5.6 sec res cast time.

I got one off in a 2s match the other day (it was me vs. a shadow priest. Kited him away, got the fear and then came back and stood out of LOS). Obviously, gg.
