For those who may be newer to the game and/or do not have Jewelcrafting this gem is obtained when a Jewelcrafter cuts Alicite cassée there is a chance it will be cut "perfect".

This perk was first released in 2.0 and required La perfection des gemmes however it is now automatically awarded to Jewelcrafters without having to do the quest (which has been removed from the game)

The process chance is not known for certain however from testing it appears to be between 10-20%. Obviously results will vary.

Ps. While this information may seem obvious for some, I am confident that many players, especially those without JC will find this useful.
