I'm not sure why this was downrated. Knowing that it has effectively a 100% uptime means you can really say you will get the 252 mastery and 300 agility at almost all times (save the first few seconds of a fight).

Honestly, given the lack of tank trinkets compared to DPS stuff, not a terrible tanking trinket (at least from a DK standpoint). Mastery is amazing, and the proc is the equivalent of ~102 dodge rating, plus a tiny bit of crit for extra threat.

It's mentioned in the heroic version's comments, but worth also adding here: Procs off Sap but NOT Premeditation or Pickpocket for rogues.
