This has the Whirlwind animation when used. Cool for scaring off opposing faction in PvP combat bcz Whats the first thing u do when a Warrior whirlwinds? You run away lol.

This is a GREAT trinket that gets even better when you combine it with http://www.wowhead.com/item=56121. Use both to increase your parry rating by 1512, then you get the proc from the finger to increase your dodge. Fantastic :) I love how a lot of items in this expansion work in tandem with each other like this.

Honestly, this has been one of the most useful trinkets ever on my warrior. Not only does it proc Hold the Line, but with a only 1-minute cooldown, this is auh-may-zang on my warrior. Being able to have insta-avoidance two or three times on a fast fight, maybe five on a long one (I'm looking at you, Altairus), it's alot of utility. Plus (even though it's usually on its internal cooldown) this works amazingly with Throngus's Finger (heroic). Please Blizzy, bring back the heroic version QQ

I know that the name doesn't have to make sense but the icon looks like an old fashioned computer punch card.

Fun tip for paladins (protadin paladins, since it's more of a tank trinket).

Combine this trinket with Holy Radiance and voilá, you can have your very own holy sprinkler!

Edit: The whirlwind animation from the trinket has been removed in another patch.

I had this drop off a regular random mob in Uldum. Given to our pally tank, because I'm generous at a cheap price.

i thought something was wrong, but they simply removed the whirlwind yes... in 4.0.6. Must say it's better this way, too much movement to make u tanking look good =)

This is a fairly common trinket, and the auction house price tends to reflect that. If anyone were trying to qualify for heroics quickly, this is one of the easier trinkets to get. Your other options are to grind the TB dailies (only 40 tokens and honored needed for a 333, still 3 days is longer than 1 trip to the AH) or grind normal dungeons (and hope trinkets drop). There are other BoE trinkets, but this will probably be the cheapest.

This trinket likely no longer has the Bladestorm animation due to PVP woes I imagine as people may mistake it for the actual Bladestorm, similar to how the Black Heart had it's animation changed in Wrath as at one time it gave you the Hand of Protection animation when it activated.

It's sad really that the heroic versions of drops like this were never implemented, this is a simply amazing trinket. Mastery along with a nice parry use effect on a 1min CD for burst damage phases? It beats out most heroic level trinkets just for this.

This is probably the only 333 I'd recommend for entry lvl cata raiding. It gives you an extra avoidance cooldown to use during periods of burst damage, and mastery is the best stat for most tanking classes.
