It is supposedly a Excavationbot which will help you fight while PvPing or doing quests in Krasarang Wilds.

If you are a stealther, you'll find it may not be ideal to have this happy little guy following you around and giving away your location. There might be other methods, but I found that to make him go away, just fly up until he disappears. If you mount up but don't go very high, he'll reappear once you land again. So you can fly about and do your quests and he'll still follow you and help out, but if you want him gone for good, fly above the trees or higher.

This little guy, while cute, is not worth the commissions. He simply explodes when you fight for relatively no damage.
