I understand why they did this, they want people to upgrade their current legendaries to 1000 and prevent people from stockpiling excessively. But !@#$show incoming, obviously.

So, it will cost 6x more, but we will receive around 6x more. Makes perfect sense.I like grinding (Hero of Shattrah proves it), but Lizzard made the grinding absolutely pointless and rewardless, together with reputations and crafting and pointless artifact power. And this expansion started so good and ended in the same thrashcan as WoD, where the devs discourage you to play more, because there is no reason to.
I think you guys simply dont get it, its to protect you from yourselves from feeling forced to mercilessly grind it out. Now theres no need for it, and the rate of essence aquisition to cost remains unchanged. I do not see the point of the outrage. You are meant to make a proper effort for legendaries, not to game the system.

Couldn't they keep the upgrade cost the same? It's bad enough those of us that were with the expansion from earlier on have to upgrade all our alts without any progress we've made being rendered useless.I have 14/50 on some of my characters, when they log on they'll be 14/300 and what for?
Adding another tedious grind to the mix doesn't make us want to play more Blizz, especially as a poor patch-job for all the sh*te rng people been having, you should know that by now.In fact, it makes us want to stop playing, which many of us already did. Couldn't even bother upgrading all my existing legs to 1k ilevel so why would i now?.Soon those legendaries are both pointless and useless and we've already danced the daily dance for so many months, we're burnt out.Heck i bet that giving those legs away for free wouldn't even get people excited enough to keep playing in the long term.Maybe if you added leg drops to other means of play, like a rare crafting proc, gathering/fishing or just killing some random trash mob in the middle of nowhere. That would've given us an incentive to explore and do anything we enjoy doing (like you promised before the exp. came out; i wanted to fish up a damn legendary and find one with Archeology!)Or just you know, increase the bloody droprate? What i got instead was stacks upon stacks of Carrots on a Stick from my Emissary caches and a mountain of duplicate Argus mounts i couldn't trade with anyone because the loot sharing system is borked af.My advice?Take a break from WoW and just work your way through all the other amazing games, series and movies you skipped playing/watching last year because the daily WoW dance wore you down.I even went back to Diablo 3 just to see it rain legs, hundreds of f*cking badly rolled legs per hour but at least i'm getting them!

Pff. I'm done with those bloody legendaries. My main has the ones I want. On my alts I barely have any.This the last patch (apparently). Just give us those stupid things, so we can play the content of the game without RNG-legendary.Legendaries aren't content for me. They are just a tool I use for doing content. YMMV, as always.
