I ran the boss 25 man boss in Wintergrasp and was really tanking it! I was pulling off the main tank and showing him how its down and I knew he was just as pro as me cause he would know whats going on and can react just like me. So there we were got the boss down to about 12% ...10%....5%....2%.....ENRAGE! BAM BOOM SPLAT! There goes the raid in a matter of seconds.Attempt number 2:We are ready ...buffed up pug group of 24 other people ready to rock this easy epic giving boss. Of course this time around we lose a warrior, rogue and a boomkin druid somehow. Anyhow...we DID IT! We slayed the rock beast and of course umm...I get a rez up cause I already died as he enraged again lol. So what happens next makes me freak out ....As I get up I say thank you to my friend that invited me to the raid and he responds back..no prob :)Next think I do is go get my badge and LOW AND BEHOLD! ....Teir 7 Death Knight Chest for a tank.I started thinking so many things but all leads to 1 thing... there are 3 other Death Knights in the raid. :(I gracefully only state..Im the only DK tank..kthx then the raid lead for some reason says roll for the following and lists my chest! Of course I don't roll! ..I got my Tier gear ever on my Death Knight which is the greatest and best feeling I have ever had while playing WoW...truly epic.

I never got a epic drop so, Im hoping this " epic " bear will drop into my bag one day.
My most epic item, well the one i remember the most was when i first started playing and learning how to play. I was just a lowly rogue figuring everything out when I killed a reg. mob and the dazzling longsword dropped. I my heart skipped a beat when i saw the color purple in my loot window. I was like holy @#$%! So of course as a lowly noob I equipped it. Was all proud running around with it. Like hey look at me, I'm the coolest. Until some guy whispers me "thats a crappy rogue sword its for a tank, you noob." So all in one day the high of high and the low of lows. But it taught me to actually look at gear and learn how it can help or hinder. So that's turning a frown upside down.
Chaosurge, Level 70 Tauren Enhancement Shaman Argent Dawn. This is the story of the day I bought my Dark Riding Talbuk. It was two o'clock on a Friday afternoon and there was a breeze with a slight chance of rain among the plains of Nagrand. All I needed to do was capture Halaa and I would have myself a snazzy talbuk to add to my ranch. Determined to earn the mount, I assaulted Halaa. Ten minutes into the barrage it dawned on me that Halaa was empty, no Alliance were interfering. I was close, only 2 guards to kill and then a small game of king of the hill and its over, I will win my giant war goat. Off into the distance I see a figure. It is a human Mage flying on his 280mph red gryphon. "No sweat" I think to myself, "I will shove my fist so far down his throat I will be able to enchant Windfury on it out the other end". I have landed, I cannot see the Mage, suddenly I sense he has targeted me, but I do not know what he is sending my way, then it hits me, the biggest pyroblast critical strike I have ever been instilled. It hits me hard and I am stunned, by the time he has floated from the skies above me, he lands and strikes me with another fireball and I meet death. Before my soul begins its journey in the nether world, he walks to my corpse and laughs at me (you can't cry when you are dead). I collect myself, remembering all the battles I have won, and how fierce an opponent I am, mabye it wasn't the Mage laughing at me but Karma in the form of a mage, representing one-hundred thousand mages strong, all laughing at me. This infuriates me, I see my body I resurrect, I heal myself to full, I use my mana pot all at the same time targeting the mage... BOOM! To our hero's surprise he is hit with another fully magically enhanced intant pyroblast. Guess what we're having for lunch boys Taurahe Steak Soup MmMmm Cambull's good "Bur". So as the day wains our hero is met with much dismay; this is because the Mage is taking advantage of the three minute walk back to our hero's body and the fact that he resurrects at half health... Almost ready to give up and idea forms inside the thick cow skull "I must get to higher ground and rest atop a floating piece of land so that I may fight with greater strength, I must work quick" so he resurrects himself grabs his Wind Rider, and starts his ascent to the sky plateau when BOOM! he is hit with another inflamed excruciating pyroblast which as it burns his flesh the Mage gently floats towards the ground bellow. Burning aching pain with no preparation H to poor on his wounds he lands safely on the weightless rock but vulnerable to attack. He dresses his wounds and roars to the world in front of him, "I have owned the Goldshire Inn, I have an average kill death record of seven to one in Arathi Basin, and I reached Exalted with Orgrimmar by fighting in Alterac Valley! I will make this Mage bleed forgiveness". He makes his decent towards the earth. How fortunate, his wait is short for the mage has met him. The mage dismounts and begins feather falling " Nuh uh uha, not so fast " the shaman also dismounts to the mage's surprise and purges his feather fall. Both of them plummeting to their deaths, the mage panicking. Chaosurge looks below himself and his enemy. There is a sharp deadly cliff below the Mage, and the cool water of the basin below himself, lets just hope the water isn't too shallow. In a last act of desperation the mage fires one last pyroblast at Chaosurge bringing him very very close to death. The mage sees the cliff and Ice Blocks himself and proceeds to slide down the sheer face of the wall. SPLASH! They both make contact with the water. Looking each other eye to eye, in every great battle there is a split second where time stands still, where the grass dances with the wind, where you can feel how fast you can become, where you can feel your death or feel your victory over your foe before it happens... and this is where the mage dies. Chaosurge plants a grounding totem, and thrusts his fists so fast at the Mage that it hasn't even got over what has just happend. Chaosurge erupts into a tornado with the enchanting windfury gracefully billowing his mane. Confusion bestows the Mage, with out his magical combo what is he to do besides passively cast arcane missiles as he awaits his appropriate timely demise. "It's nap time Mage, time for you to take a dirt nap"Thank You, Chaosurge
My Most Epic Drop:This was back way, way before Burning Crusade was ever announced. Heck, even Naxx had not been released yet. Our guild was just testing the waters of Blackwing Lair but after a month, all we had done was perfect the art of wiping on Vael.Razorgore went down easy this night... and then Vael... it was a Friday night and our GM was determined that this would be the night. We tried. And we tried. We lost raiders, we gained raiders...for 5 hours straight we went at it. I was the 2nd Main Tank of the guild and we had the first 3 transitions down to an art...but we just could not close the deal. It was well past midnight when our raid leader announced this would be our final attempt. We only had 35 raiders left at this point. I was the second tank in our rotation. Our first tank moved in and initiated combat. Everything was going smooth... the first two Burning debuffs were paladins, so our DPs was holding up nice and steady. Our main tank got his burning debuff and I moved into position to take over when he went down. Just 2 ticks before he exploded, a rogue drew aggro and Vael spun around! His tail was in our face...SLAM...our main tank was tail slapped into the healers where he promptly exploded taking out our top 2 priests and druid!Thankfully, the rogue was basically one shotted and Vael spun back around to chew on me. I held his aggro and everything slowly came back together. Slowly our raid was whittled down as the debuffs slowly ate through us and we exploded one by one. Finally, I took my debuff and started spamming my Executes. Full rage after full rage execute were slamming into Vael of 5000 a pop. I did my duty and died as all tanks do against Vael. But the fight kept going. Tank #3 fell.Tank #4 took over with Vael under 1% but less than 10 people left in the raid. Vael is slowly going down...its a race..can we finish him off before the raid wipes. 10k...8k...5k...the final tank goes down and Vael spins around to the last Rogue... He pops evasion and tanks Vael..all that is left is a rogue and a paladin...2k left...1k left...the Rogue goes down...A Healing Paladin and less than 1k health is all that stood between us and our first Vael kill. Vent was dead silent 500...400...DEAD. WE had killed Vael!...and then the poor Paladin sat there with his Burning debuff and exploded a few seconds later...giving us a complete party wipe...AND our first Vael kill!We rezzed up and finally searched the corpse... and saw glittering there... and since the only other warrior close to me in DKP has gotten a Helm of Wrath the week before... I took that baby and wore it forever...I still think it is one of the best looking helms for a Gnome.Even 18 levels later..I still have it sitting in my bank.
