When WoW gets boring, i usually fall back into Oblivion or KOTOR, even tho they aren't MMO's they are RPG's and they bring back some good memories. If game's aren't keeping me amused, i just go out. Also.... i occasionally hop onto Diablo 2 to pwn faces with my pally, but its not the same anymore. if not Diablo 2, im playing Dota on Wc3 or Playing SC. All of this in limits tho, I only allow myself to play maybe 2 hours a day. (with exceptions of course)
Try Dofus.I'm in the beta for the sequel game Wakfu.Turn based tactical MMO.Devblog.It's fairly ambitious, the games are set in a triology (Wakfu being the second), and they plan on making it so that players in all three games can come together in a space/time dungeon and interact with one another. So far Wakfu is trying to implement a level-less way of progressing, an actual ecosystem, an NPC-less world where everything is player driven, etc.
http://www.tale-of-tales.com/TheEndlessForest/The Endless Forest is a massively multiplayer online game where each player controls a stag with a human face. There are no quests or goals in the game, only the endless, idyllic environments and the company of your fellow stags. Nor is there any way to communicate other than with body language and animal sounds.
EVE Online. I'm a sci-fi junkie at heart after all, and EVE offers me a great way to play casual by letting their skills train with real time rather than actions. You click, train, go do something and the skill is training. Even when logged off. This allows me to just log in, do a few missions, mine a bit, chat a bit, whenever I feel like it.Of course, the game I am looking forward the most right now, and the one that -if done properly- will cause my time spend in Azeroth to dwindle to next to nothing, is Star Wars: The Old Republic. As a Star Wars fan, I really have no excuse not to try this game after all. Will I say goodbye to WoW forever? I don't think so. I've tried quiting, I came back. I tried other MMO's, I came back. Old Republic is going to have a major pull, and if they make a good game out of it it will keep me chained to it, but I doubt it will make me let go of WoW forever.Time will tell though.
I see people when I go outside...scary people...
