For some reason we managed to pull out this dude WITHOUT the other 2 (boss) people. I'm thinking that since he's an emissary of Kael'thar (correct me if I'm wrong here) he might not be linked to the Reagent prince and the ranger lord.

I was able to Cyclone him so more CC may be appliable on him.

Hopefully more updates will follow.

Seem to do about the same damage as Brightwing, 950-ish average hit on a t4/t5 tank.

No special attacks, only melee. Suspect he got somewhat more hp that currently listed on wowhead (MobInfo2 claims he got 931000).

getting in the room is one thing. there areabout 30 guards outside in 2 rows. we made the mistake of charging in and trying to aoe. i beleive that first attempt ended with our rogue stabbing him once

I think his robe is similar to kael'thas' (before he was evil) robe, I also admire his tattoos and how short his hair is

Can anyone confirm what his abilities are, I saw an alliance raid kill him once and he didn't appear to do anything more than an auto attack.

Just killed this guy last night. Didn't appear to drop any money, or give any Alliance reputation. Didn't check if he gave honor, as I didn't think of it last night.

Anyone know if this guy is supposed to drop money or honor/reputation. We took him down with 25 people very easily, along with another boss, Lor'themar Theron.

If these guys do not give any faction reputation, honor, or gold, its pretty much a waste unless you're bored and want to form a raid to kill a city "boss".

To clarify: his gear is NOT ingame, but the files for it are so you can use WoW Model Viewer if you got the right ID's. And no he is not wearing the Belf Bandit Mask; the bandit mask doesn't change your hair, the Rommath one pulls it back like his.

What confuses me till now is that he's obviously a Mage class and yet only fights melee.

Was running heading to UC one day and the Alliance were in Silvermoon making quick work of him and then killed off Lorthemar and Halduron, battle was epic nonetheless but the other two have special moves of their own.

Apparently he (along with Manastorm and Benedictus) joins the Twilight cult in the Cataclysm beta.

Does this means he finally gets some new abilities? :D

Updated to about 17-18M HP now (And I assume his hidden level has been updated from 70-73 to 85-88). He also casts Molten Armor on himself. I will guess he also does more then auto attack and it's just nobody has fought him so the WoWHead database hasn't been updated.

Upon the release of the Cataclysm expansion, capital bosses have their HP + Dmg increased and are now scaled as an 85 boss. This upgrade of NPC's also affected Lor’themar Theron assistants Grand Magister Rommath. From lvl 70 (elite) with 500k hp to a ? (boss) with 17 million HP.

That is a huge upgrade indeed, same goes for the other assistant Halduron Brightwing.

Edit: Pandaland is here! Now he got 87M hp!

I found it kind of interesting about Rommath's opinion on Lor'themar. Before the hostility between the Kirin Tor and the Sunreaver's, Rommath claimed that Lor'themar would make a great King of the Blood Elves on multiple occasions. After the events in Dalaran, however, Rommath said to Lor'themar that he "would make a fine Warchief." This could be alluding to the fact that Blizzard stated after Garrosh is overthrown, Thrall will not be taking the position as Warchief again. I know this is just speculation, but I just found it as possible foreshadowing. If I had to choose the Warchief, I would choose either Lor'themar Theron or Vol'jin of the Darkspear Tribe.

I killed him in Suramar, he doesn't drop anything, nor does he do anything special.

You can turn on PvP and kill him, fight took about 20 minutes.

Not recommended.
