It's important to know that the air and earth elementals are immune to the nature magic schools. As a balance druid this makes killing these a bit more cumbersome as I can't use wrath on these mobs. Fortunately both mobs seem to succeptible to arcane magic - for me that's Starfire and Moonfire. I'd be interested to see if mages had difficulty blasting these things as well, as I'm not sure if fire/frost spells work on these either.

Theese are a pain to kill as a elemental specced shaman, seeing as our main nukes are nature based.

So to kill theese it's flametongue weapon, searing totem and flameshock that has to be used.

These have a Lightning Shield (3 charges, 132 or so nature damage per charge) which Mages can spellsteal. This shield gets 100% of your +spell damage, which can make for some quite impressive reactive damage (against non-nature-immune mobs, anyways.)

Fire and frost spells will work on them as they are air elementals (air mainly means nature spells and immunity in WoW). As for earth elementals fire and frost works on them as well.

**Windfury does work, don't be fooled by the name ;p (use it since I'm enhancement)

As a fire mage, i do not have a problem soloing these mobs, they are NOT immune to fire and frost.

I was running from this thing, just cuz i was in a hurry, and right when im about to get away a lighting bolt shoots at me, i get dismounted, and i get pulled back to the mob. It then procedes to disappear while i am still being hurt by its melee swing. Now im not sure if this is some crazy ablitly they ahve or if i just lagged or whatever.
