Killing Sparkmancer Vu is part of Les gens de Mogudor and Tous les Mogu sont dans la nature. You can summon Sparkmancer Vu using Incantation de Vu at 38.5, 54.8.

For Les gens de Mogudor you have to also kill Maître-forge Deng and Haqin des cent Lances.

The summon spot is right in the center of that 'some sort of' graveyard square, a big tombstone.

I pulled him (Mage), then moved just a bit down the slope. He stopped the targeted lighting, just did the AOEs once in a while.

I found that pulling a nearby Garde-tombe de Shan’ze and using their Rune de la tempête to stand in during any of the 3 summons can make quick work of the encounter or give you the boost you need if you're having difficulty killing them alone.

Fairly easy to solo, chain lighting hits for minimal damage. The only abilities that cause heavy damage are easy to see on the ground and avoid.

Almost no matter where I stood in the graveyard type area, I couldn't see the plaque on the gravestone/monument for this guy. There's a thorny type bramble bush in front of it that obscures it from sight from practically any angle other than standing at an extreme angle to the left (east) of it or inside the bramble bush located right in front of it. No joke, I actually spent a few minutes running around the area of the coordinates listed on the map above of 38.4, 55.0. I even thought it might be right behind the wall north of those coordinates, which was a pain to get around without being able to mount up and fly over the wall.

Once I finally found it, I stood as close to it with it right in front of me, and standing at that exact spot gave me coordinates of 38.49, 54.79. So even if you can't see the plaque, if you stand exactly at those coordinates you can use the summoning item, the Incantation of Vu, while standing at that precise location.

If you happen to have one or both of the other Incantations, the ones to summon either Haqin of the Hundred Spears or Forgemaster Deng, I'd advise doing one of those two first because their monuments/gravestones (whatever they technically are) are much easier to spot, and then you'll know exactly what kind of a stone block you're looking for as all three look virtually or perhaps are literally exactly the same, just that the other two are in the same little raised courtyard within 20 feet of each other and Vu's is in a courtyard north of theirs.

Vu himself, just like Haqin and Deng, is very simple to kill, the hardest part is finding the place to summon him. :) Enjoy!

I recommend being fairly geared to do this, or have a friend. Not as easy as everyone seems to say it is.

Last I needed for the achievement - looted the incantation, summoned him, did 3 different melee attacks on him, and he did not register for the achievement.
