Since 7.2.0, you can find these scattered around the streets of Dalaran. They're incredibly tiny, which makes them easy to miss. Upon interacting with one, you'll get a Caillou.

I've looted about five this evening with the same results each time, but who knows if there's a rare chance to get something else.

For the life of me, I cannot find a SINGLE one of these pebbles on the streets.
Are they specific to a certain time of day?

UPDATE: Finally found one 11:30pm CST then saw another at a different spawn point about 30s later.

Add a spot to the map! 54.93, 52.57 I was wondering if there were more spots than recorded.
It is very small and mine had a slight greenish tinge to it. I think it might be best to "look" for it by sweeping your mouse over the street!
My cursor turned into one of the loot bags you get when you hold your mouse over a vendor. IDK why I thought it would turn into a wheel.

The Caillou déchaussé are notoriously difficult to see. I recommend Élixir Brouillecaboche to shrink you right down in size, a gnome toon, zoom right in, and my Loose Pebble AddOn from Curse. They are that difficult to see!

You only need the one, unless you want to have a bit of fun throwing them at other players of your faction. And grinding Laboureurs reputation to 12600/21000 so you can even get this far is a whole different story!

These do NOT stack in your bags
Are only found on the red paving stones
Respawn very fast
Will often be rapidly farmed more out of curiosity than intent
Ten locations
Several are in high traffic areas, such as out the front of the faction enclaves
The pebble at (41.14,54.35) is missing from the map above. Screencap submitted to Wowhead

So that you do not need an AddOn I have submitted screenshots of all ten pebbles, depicting quite a wide angle (no other players and no UI visible), to Wowhead. Thankfully two of these were deemed to be of sufficient quality.

(Yeah, I have an addOn to help with The Tillers dirt mounds too at Curse )

You can throw these at other players, or show it to Dog (a quest you can get when you're over halfway revered with the Tillers who shows up at Sunsong Ranch and your garrison in Draenor). Once shown to Dog, Dog will move from your garrison to the Menagerie in Dalaran.

I'm beginning to think the loose pebble is a myth... camped & camped at Antonidas Memorial but no pebble spawns *cries*.

The Chien in question is near your Garrison's herbalism plants!

Is there an achievement for this or is it just to relocate the dog?
