My player (i'm not talking about battle pets) got hit with "this" a couple weeks back, like a strange darkmoon-themed Hunter's Mark stayed floating over my head for a minute maybe or less, and whatever text popped up when I hovered over the debuff said something about Darkmoon Curse or Curse of Darkmoon, I forget the actual wording.

I had just got done bidding on some PvP bracers at the BMAH and got jumped by I believe a rogue and a mage, maybe there was a druid there too idk, so I assumed one of those classes put that on me? Or maybe some Darkmoon-related pet of theirs (like the Darkmoon Eye?) maybe has this as a passive, putting a purely cosmetic "debuff" on enemies you attack in-game?

Whatever it was, now that I have searched and can find nothing about it, I am now very interested to find out. If this is something a battle pet does, I want to be sure to get the pet myself, as the unfamiliar and bizarre "debuff" might confuse enemy players in wPvP and the like.

Please let me know anything you know about this in comments. The "Hunter's Mark" that formed above my head looked exactly like what is shown in the debuff here. Thank you!
