Do not underestimate this DoT. When paired with the global effect MOONLIGHT (as possessed by some serpent-type Dragonkin like the Celestial Dragon or the Humanoid Moonkin Hatchling), this DoT is great. Additionally, if you're using it because you have an Infected Squirrel pet, you can increase the DoT damage even further by dropping a Rabid Strike on the enemy. Your opener looks something like: Starfall/Moonfire, switch from dragon to squirrel, Creeping Fungus, Rabid Strike, Consume. Your opponent will be dying and you will have just healed back up to near-full or full if Consume crit.
