Maybe it is just me, but Proven Attacker has much better sound to it than Proven Assailant. For one thing, assailant can also mean enemy. And announcing to everyone that you have proved yourself as a worthy enemy, somehow does not sound right. At least to me.

Title is account-wide which means it can be used on any character you like (as long as the character is level capped).

Example: You get the title on a Mage, but you can also use it on a Monk.

Specialization isn't an obstacle as well(ex. Protection Paladin with The Proven Assailant title while you got it with another character). And just in case you wondered it's Cross-Realm too( Silvermoon to Tarren Mill).

Very nice experience in my opinion.

One of the rarest titles I've seen so far even on a high pop realm like mine. Inspected several heroic geared players and none I've encountered so far have attained this title with the closest being endless 10 waves.

That being said, if you're like me and don't really have the time to commit to guild raiding hours and simply play casually, you can be proud to obtain this title. Screw heroic gear and the nerds who link their dps everytime they come out top, you just survived 30 straight minutes of 30 waves of combat without screwing up, and you did that all by yourself with scaled down gear! Wear this title with pride!

After days and dozens of hours put into this I finally got it. I would recommend that anyone interested in this achievement and title be prepared to invest time and serious effort into it. Read the guide here on wowhead and watch videos for your class on youtube. I did it on my hunter and it was quite a challenge. I think I could say It was the hardest thing I've done in Warcraft so far. Best of luck to anyone working on this I hope you get it!

got this achievement on my frost DK earlier today. After countless wipes and 15+ hours of work I finally got it.

to do this though I did have to switch back to 2h frost simply because back at that ilvl 2h was top dps overall and scaled the best out of any class with the gear.

For any other frost DK's looking to try to get this I suggest the guide on Elitist jerks. very detailed and if you want you can follow it exactly, or just take pointers and work with the gear you have on hand (like I did) either way it'll work if you have patience and keep a sharp eye, in the end on the Shas you could have 700k obliterates which help a lot

This is one of the hardest and most fun thing I have come across in WoW :) definitly worth it, even though I spend hours planning on tactics. Got to wave 35, and then my brain freezed xD

How does ilvl work there? Does it scale according to?

I can confirm that this title can still be obtained in WoD, it is still acquired through completing 30 waves in the endless damage mode.

With how gear is now, this is more a time sync than actually challenging in any way.

You CAN CC the adds, even big mystic. Don't be like me and fail on 26 because I got no procs, had all cooldowns on CD, got no crits, and the add got healed twice because I assumed you couldn't CC the add. You can, for full NPC duration.

Although this still does scale with your level, it seems that having a higher ilvl will make this challenge much easier. Completed this recently on my first attempt with my balance druid, ilvl 922, no real issues.

Doing this on a class/spec with a lot of AoE/CC is going to make this challenge even more trivial. I would expect ranged to have an easier time with it than melee as well.

Friend got it on Shadow priest easily. Did 30 waves but achievement did not pop. Kept going until 68 and got bored, so the mobs kill her. Achievement popped. Don't worry about continuing after 30 unless you just want to, when you end the scenario, the achievement will pop for your title.

My titles is gone as of prepatch? I had all 3 and now have none. Maybe they are lvl gated but that would be stupid as hell.

Just got this title and achievement today. Still can be gotten as of Shadowlands pre-patch.

Just did this as a warlock in SL patch 9.2.7 and got title. Pretty easy i would say
