The Epaulières lourdes en mithril and the Espauliers de jouteur are the same model as the guard shoulders, though not an exact color match. They are the closest color match I could find for that model.

the best hands by far for this are deathbone gauntlets out of scholomance. in the big section where you kill 6 bosses, then the final boss spawns, it can drop off any of those. and if you're melee, with no magic, you can either one shot the room on the top floor, if you do enough dps, or just skip that room, farm the other 5, rinse and repeat, because the top right room, if not one shotted, has to be killed with magic damage, they're immune to melee when they transform.

also, why is no one talking about the shield out of CoS for this? royal crest of lordaeron. it looks pretty sick with this set :)

the gauntlets sadly have a 3% drop rate, so it takes some farming. i've been working on it on my warr for a while now, still dont have them, actually run my alt mage through there for leveling, and they drop off the first possible boss, the first time i'm in there lol

i almost forgot! the new pvp cloaks for cata, i forget the name, i dont pvp lol, but the blue and gold ones, match the blue on the helm perfectly, so it works out nice :) happy hunting

ok, for those looking for gloves for this set, i went and farmed the deathbone gauntlets, with hopes the comments on here were right, they are not a match, AT ALL in color. they're black, nothing grey or blue on them, just shades of black. completely doesnt go. so, i started camping the AH for the rockwurm ones mentioned, and the plate rockwurm gloves go perfect in design, and color. but it leaves a gap between the arm and hands, just a small one. if this bothers you, like i assume it does, the white linen shirt, covers and matches the color of the armor quite nicely

gauntlets of purification also go quite nicely, same model as the rockwurm, without the gap, but the color is slightly different, still silver though

another interesting thing about the set. if you wanna look like officer brady, theres leather pants, and gloves that match EXACTLY, same model as, its from the glyphed garb set. i happen to put them on my druid, and officer brady walked past me. no wonder no one can match the guards.... they're wearing leather!

I found some really good shoulders and gloves for this set that match really well.
Shoulders: Epaulières lourdes en mithril
Gloves: Gantelets en vrai-argent

and a really pretty sword would be: Sorcelame en saronite

Along with the shield: Egide de Hurlevent

perfect set just go to the QM of SW and get your tabard and cloak and your done! Cheers!

The Cape glaciale is the best matching back IMO. The border on it is a really nice match to the belt and design on the wrists.

The Gantelets en vrai-argent are a bit off on the color matching. Still working on a couple others depending on whether you are looking for the blue or the white.

I've geared towards the white with blue accents.

For the gloves i have use Grimscale Gauntlets whit Formal White Shirt this seem to fit a little if you cannot find other glove.

PS: I was wondering if someone know a good Two Hand Sword or a Two Hand Mace to go whit this set ?

If you're Horde and your tank is with 1-hand axe, i think Morsure de givre matches pretty good. Also fits with Egide de Hurlevent.

There seem to be many Question \ Comments \ Concerns, in regard to which gloves match this set best. What I like to use are Toucher de la banshee, with Brassards de puissance gordok to fill in the gap between upper & lower arm. This is the best match I've seen yet, even if I do say so myself.

As well; I've always hated the belt from this set (not a fan of the 'dried noodles' stringy pattern on it), so I use Ceinturon de l'Aube. Though; if that gold stripe is a bit much for you, Ceinture du sanctuaire or Ceinturon des Hautes-terres en plaques work just as well.

Round out the set with a Archeus réparée (covers up the ghastly end-game weapon enchants) & a Bouclier de Maximillian, and you're character will be looking quite 'Knightly'.

I crafted this set for myself, but was bumbed to not be able to find a good 1h mace + shield combo for my Holy Paladin.

I did a little research, and came up with the following:

Massue d'onction de Mogor

(found from the Nagrand L'arène de sang : l'ultime défi)

Along with the aforementioned shield,

Bouclier de Maximillian

(found from the Un'goro "La ballade de Maximillian".)

I find that they both match the color of the set, and go perfectly well with each other. They also fit the "holy" edge that I

wanted with this set.

These can be seen together within this post's screenshots -- Look for the Blood Elf in Org.

For the Glove deliema, I chose to go with

Garde-mains du ver-de-roche en plaques

(found via AH. Please note these are ROCKWURM PLATE. I made the oversight of buying the first color match I saw that was the MAIL counterparts.)

As a weapon, I chose to use Epée courte militante. It seems to go with it quite nicely, and seem to have (on the character screen at least anyway) an understated shining weapon glow to it, which is quite nice :)

If you want gloves that focus more on the silver/white side of things, Flash Freeze Guantlets from Heroic Maloriak have some gold trim with a splash of blue. Looks like bulky plate if you're not a fan of cloth-like materials.

Cloak - Cape de victoire du gladiateur courroucé - 725 Honor (from Legacy Armor Quartermaster) or Cape en daim - dropped from first Lich King dungeons (Le Nexus and Donjon d’Utgarde)
Chest - Pansière impériale - 20 Thorium Bars (300 skill)
Wrist - Brassards impériaux en plaques - 12 Thorium Bars (270 skill)
Hands - Gants de garde-serre - Random drop from TBC dungeons (they dropped to me in The Underbog)
Waist - Ceinture impériale en plaques - 10 Thorium Bars (265 skill)
Legs - Jambières impériales en plaques - 24 Thorium Bars (300 skill)

1H Axe - Hache légère de forge-ciel - 12 Mithril Bars, 4 Breaths of Wind (280 skill)
1H Mace - Martelet d'invocateur en pierre - Drop from Novos l'Invocateur in Donjon de Drak’Tharon
2H Sword - Epée large en acier lunaire - 8 Steel Bars, 2 Strong Fluxes, 2 Heavy Grinding Stones, 3 Lesser Moonstones, 3 Heavy Leathers (180 skill)
2H Axe - Bardiche du vieux garde - This axe is the best i found, you can get it if you are alliance from the quest Yorla Sombrecol, but if you are horde you can look for Hache de guerre monstrueuse :)
2H Mace - Marteau d'armes enchanté - 20 Thorium Bars, 6 Enchanted Thorium Bars, 2 Huge Emeralds, 4 Powerful Mojos, 4 Rugged Leathers
Shield - Bouclier de Maximillian, Cimier de commandant - 1st shield you can obtain from La ballade de Maximillian, which is chain quest (I think this quest is the 3rd from the chain and the last one) 2nd shield is from Shadowfang Keep, drop from Commandant Printeval.

Alright my comment might be buried but these are a few alternative pieces to get the transmog set

First off the Imperial Plate Helm and the Imperial Plate Chest were the only two that I couldn't find outside of the set.

(These first three are all in Outlands and can be done together)
Epaulières impériales en plaques can also be found by doing Les atours d'un redresseur de torts in Blade's Edge to get Epaulières de champion de Sylvanaar
Brassards impériaux en plaques can be found by doing Est-ce que je rêve… in Nagrand to get a similar Brassards de clerc de bataille
Bottes impériales en plaques can also be found by doing Dégoter de la lauze de peau-de-schiste in Netherstorm Bottes de Bottes

Jambières impériales en plaques I used the alternative shown above: Jambières de maître forgeron from Goraluk Brisenclume in Blackrock spire. To find him I used a video on youtube called How to find Goraluk Anvilcrack and it took me 2 kills to get it.
Ceinture impériale en plaques alternative Ceinturon de maître forgeron also drops from the same guy.

I hope this will help for those who are cheap and poor like me!

The good shields that match this set would be Egide de Hurlevent, Bouclier d'Hypérion, Bouclier brillant de don Gonzales, and Bouclier de Maximillian.

this set mostly looks good with simple-looking swords:
-1H swords would be Epée courte nordique, Brant noble, Epée longue éblouissante
-2h swords - Estramaçon possédé par la rage, Epée bâtarde tranchante, Flamberge galante, Lame de botte

Hey guys, I'm a Retadin and I'm am currently working on a buffed up type of Stormwind Guard armor. Right now I have Imperial Plate as a base and have been trying (without much luck) to think of some items that would complement the set, making it look a little bigger and more threatening and/or with more of a MoP style theme too it. The Gauntlets of the Righteous are a great fit. I use them with my Imperial set. Along with the Hammer of the Grand Crusader.

Salutations to all. My options to match the set for my human paladin were:

* Gauntlets: Wheelman's Shattered Grasp. Emprise brisée de Wheelman
* Cloak: Shawl of Shifting Probabilities. Châle des probabilités incertaines
* Sword: Widow Blade. Lame veuve
* Shield: Azure-Shield of Coldarra. Bouclier-azur de Frimarra

Not so classic, bur still the standard "blue-and-gold" of the Alliance.

If you're not a fan of the full plate helm, Protectorate Headplate is a great alternative (blue / graymetal headband).

If you're looking for a good cloak to match, both Royal Cape and Gossamer Cape match quite nicely. Royal isn't an absolute color match, but it's good enough.

Here's the set that I use, with choice of weapon sets (Sword & Board or 2H) and cloaks. Click and drag the weapons you'd like into the box with the armor pieces, then click the dropdown arrow above the pieces and select "View in 3D". Just drag the weapons back out and put new ones in if you want to preview it with a different weapon set.

Note that Stormwind Tabard from the Garrison (Dwarven Bunker / War Mill) has a better matching color scheme than the Stormwind Tabard from the Stormwind Quartermaster. The one from the Garrison is a higher-res version of the old SW tabard, if any veterans remember that one.

So the obvious tabard is the Tabard de Hurlevent, but I found that the Tabard tushui matches the blue coloring far better, and it's still an alliance tabard.

Objective: Stormwind City Guard transmog.

Alliance faction can simply buy the Stormwind transmog set from your garrison. Horde options are still limited. :(

As complement for the Imperial Plate set, instead of obsessing about finding a matching set of blue gloves & belt -- and imho, none are are a satisfying match -- I discovered the white/gold can be matched with Thunderwood items:

hands: Gantelets du bois du Tonnerre
waist: Ceinturon du bois du Tonnerre
wrists: Plaques de bras du bois du Tonnerre (optional)

Lieutenant Drake from Old Hillsbrad Foothills appears to be wearing gauntlets that are definitely made to match the set, although he's wearing a different helmet. Too bad it seems those are not available for players...
