It was a HUGE pain to make these 'back in the day' - but also a big sense of pride/accomplishment (for such mediocre item models). Only wish that they had been the dark blue-black feather color instead, a la the ironfeather pieces.

This set uses the gold (officially "Brown") version of the "C2 Mail" artwork.

Sadly I couldn't find any gloves, legs or boots of the same artwork. It's a shame Jambières de plumes sauvages weren't the same colour as this set.

crafting the original Ironfeather set back in the day was a pain too... but good eye linking the matching items to this set. Ironfeather pieces and the Dragonhawk hat would go very well with this

Namha Aiguelune in Dalaran wears this, including a kilt version of the legs not available to players. Or maybe she wears the mail version Gryphon Mail - there's no indication of her class.
