There's a couple of rather interesting hints that I don't think have been addressed yet.
The main one - Season 7 launches with 3.2. That means Tier 9 is out also (has been stated lots of times they will keep arena and pve balanced. They don't want ppl rushing to arena for gear for PVE nor do they want arena players running instances for gear for PVP. They admitted naxx being so easy unbalanced PVP as everyone had ilvl 226 weapons so to suddenly give PVP a higher tier of everything seems counter to this admission).
With the thought that we have tier 9 on the way you need to consider the number of bosses. Now pretty much EVERY previous tier has dropped from instances with roughly 10+ bosses. Considering there is only the Colusseium (bah @ my spelling, ill fix that later) announced either it's a CRAPLOAD more/bigger than they are letting on or the "unannounced instance" is still just that.
Now I appreciate most instances have a Tardis like effect (bigger on the inside than they look from outside) but 10 bosses in a building barely big enough to hold an arena match.... 10 bosses.... really?
There HAS to be more to this.
With the thought in mind that tier 9 IS DEFINITELY LAUNCHING WITH 3.2 (the Season 7 announcement basically confirms that) what's left for Icecrown? They are doing 3 tiers per expansion (again I think something they have stated same as keeping arena and pve balanced) which leaves no extra tier for 3.3/Icecrown
Personally I think they have a "standard" setup now with the last instance of the expansions dropping the belt/boots/bracers of the highest tier set and imba off-set pieces. I might be off the mark but there definitely seems to be a regular "formula" they are working to for expansions. Yes it will change and be refined a little and the 10/25 all the way through progression we have seen this time has changed things also but I don't think i'm too far off the mark here.
Edit: Hmmm, 1 thought that just came to me. They may of course release another ilvl of gear without the tier set. That would require less bosses and stay balanced.

Well, there are still a number of areas they could open up to raids:
Naz'anak, the Forgotten Depths: This area beneath Icecrown Citadel could be a raid instance against the Faceless Ones. It could also lead up to the opening of the citadel itself; speculation is that this is the tunnel through which Arthas and Anub'arak escaped from Azjol-Nerub, so who knows what might have gotten left behind down here?
Onslaught Harbor: We haven't had a Scarlet Crusade instance or raid; for those who have done the quest line, the Scarlet Onslaught is "under new management", so who knows what may be hidden beneath their stronghold off the coast of Icecrown?
Belargarde Fortress: This massive Vrykul fortress on the western coast of Icecrown has yet to be opened; it's definitely large enough for an instance or two, and maybe a raid.
Sanctums of the Flights: Beneath Wyrmrest Keep, only one of the five portals - the Obsidian Sanctum - is active. Perhaps we'll see another of the dragons' sanctums opened as a new "mini-raid"?
Caverns of Time Redux: There are a number of major events in WoW lore that have yet to be touched upon; it would be fairly easy to concoct another time-warped raid instance. While it's not in the lore, I think it could interesting to go back in time to a raid involving Vordrassil, the Northrend world tree whose roots were corrupted by Yogg Saron.

Indeed, as far as instance chances go. I'd definitely back Wyrmrest, i'd put money on us seeing at least a "1 boss" type fight. I think this one's especially likely considering there are portals being channeled right now in game.
We haven't seen a Troll instance yet and tho it would be a bit too "ooh, a troll instance, how unusual!" there is the temple sat at the top of Zul'Drak waiting to have something interesting in it.
It's a real shame they haven't gone full bore on the instance opportunities. There's SOO many extra options compared to TBC (I mean, where else could you add significant extra instances in TBC? I'm thinking hard and there's not really many other "big bits" of structure or random caves etc to make much else). It would be a shame to see so much good material not used.

You already answered your own question there basicly, you could easily fit 10(+) bosses in an arena, just make it similar to the Ring of Blood and Amphitheater of Anguish. You talk to someone to start the event, the first boss enters the arena (or the boss is already inside and you walk in), and you start fighting, when he is killed, you talk to the organiser or w/e to call in the next boss, and so forth untill you reach certain bosses that drop tier (last 5 bosses for example).
Eventhough I dont think Blizzard will ever implement a dungeon without trash, but it is definitly plausible.

You have a point on Plausibility. Meh, I spose i'm might be more like just HOPING they don't have such a pointless seeming instance as a full tier of progression.
There's repeated references to Hyjal being made (one in this thread). The thing with Hyjal was that although you only fight in a small area (2 small area's and a slightly more open field in fact) the instance was still a decent size. I'm even going to try and make lore based arguements that it at least had something to do with wow history but I supose there WAS little reason to be there if you think about it.
I'm just rather deflated with how "meh" this could turn out to be. It seems so pointless and lazy when they could approach the "middle" patch before the final encounter of Wrath in sooooo many more interesting ways.
Any comments on the Icecrown boots/belt/bracer bit? :)

Sunwell Plateau didn't introduce a new tier, did it?
Because Blizzard stated part of the push being Quel'Danas was Illidan and the Black Temple being released too soon, leaving the original "end-boss" sort of anti-climatic.
I see them doing that with WoLK, but intentionally. I'd bet that Tier 9 will be from a seperate raid, with Icecrown Citadel being the last --- and tier-less --- raid as a big finish to the xpack.
