The easiest place to collect these, for me, was in Northdale (at approximately 66 26, Eastern Plaguelands). As a hunter, I could almost rotate and shoot all of the mobs I needed (Death Singers and Eyeless Watchers).

EDIT: I experienced a 100% drop, from all mobs, while maintaining the Ectoplasmic Distiller's buff. You may have to hit a mob and then back up, until you have the buff on you again.

This is a very good area. I just did it as a 59 frost mage. taggem and draggem to the area where you dropped the and Bobs your uncle. your finished before you know it.
